I bought these for July 4th because my Ava girl just hates fireworks and they freak her out. Unfortunately, they arrived July 5th (even though I ordered them in plenty of time AND joined the Chewy Account so I'm super disappointed they took SO LONG to arrive) but I went ahead and tried it on her since she has always had anxiety. I rescued her when she was 6 months old right before the covid quarantine so I was home with her for 15 months. When I went back to work, she freaked out and peed everywhere, poor boo boo, until she was secure knowing I would come back each day. So her first 6 months must have been more traumatic than I realized. She has always had anxiety and chews on things so I gave this collar a try. Man, I wish I had known about this 5 years ago!! It's been a game changer for her! No more crying at 5am! I got one for my other kitty Sinatra and nothing changed for him but he doesn't really have anxiety. He is a scratcher though and scratches my pretty, expensive rug even though he has a scratching board and pole right there, lol, but no change with him. So I guess it just depends on the type of anxiety. I do wish it had arrived before the 4th as it should have. It took an unusually long time to arrive.

Kitty loves his carrier and doesn't mind the vet. It's the car ride that frightens him. I put the collar in his carrier and he traveled so much better! No mewing

Coco can become very aggressive and he is the only male cat

Not for my cat

I put the collar on Chandler this morning and by this evening he acted disoriented. When I noticed this I immediately removed the collar. After a couple of hours

I put the collar on Chandler this morning and by this evening he acted disoriented. When I noticed this I immediately removed the collar. After a couple of hours he started to eat and is getting back to normal. This collar is not for Chandler, please be aware of this side effect.
