This supplement is not formulated to help with hairballs. Glandex works from the inside out in multiple ways to keep the anal glands healthy. Was Recommeded to prevent gland infection

This may be a great product, but once my dog had a gland infection it did not clear the gland. I gradually increased the dose as recommended and was sure to give

I gradually increased the dose as recommended and was sure to give it daily - but the gland was still full requiring me to go weekly. I suspect it was a deep infection as it took a month to clear up using antibiotics.

Short term fix but not a long term option

Vet recommended this for one of our dogs that was having loose stool and for our other dog that was having trouble going at all. My dogs get canned pumpkin every day already so that may be why it wasn't so effective? No idea but in both situations it helped somewhat but did not resolve them. Would recommend this for bouts of diarrhea or stomach upset, but would not use as a long term or daily supplement for ongoing bowel issues.
