What country is this product from? It looks foreign.
Answer by ChewyApr 30, 2018
This product is made in the United States.

I'd like to provide this to my cats, but they all eat at the same time and rotate around bowls. Will it be harmful for one to get more than a packet a day?
Answer by ChewyFeb 04, 2021
The bacteria will grow in the intestine. This product is intended to “seed” the gut with a large number of bacteria, approximately 200,000,000 per packet. Under ideal conditions, the generation time of these bacteria is about one hour. In two hours they will be four times higher so overdosing would be harmful to your cats.

My cat is currently taking Tylosin. Can she take a probiotic at the same time to help with her runny stools?
Answer by ChewyMar 01, 2018
Please consult your veterinarian to determine if this can be used with the current treatment plan.

Is it safe for dogs?
Answer by ChewyAug 04, 2021
This supplement is specifically formulated for cats.

Probiotics good for cats with digestive problems

This product really works. It was once suggested by our vet for an old cat with loose stools, and since then I use it for cats of all ages with similar digestive problems. The small packages or probiotic powder are easy to add to the cat's food. And the cats like it!

Probiotics for Cats

Ming's veterinarian prescribed Advita probiotic supplement powder to help resolve his issue with diarrhea (which was caused by a switch in food to a prescription diet for urinary crystals). It worked great and got the diarrhea under control. I still mix it into his food occasionally as probiotics are a good thing for the gut. It is flavorless and odorless and Ming doesn't mind!

Highly recommend this product.

The stray cat that I rescued had stomach problems but after using this product for 3 days she was fine. I still give it to her every day. Chewy's free vet advice has saved me money and time!

Cats love it

My finicky cats love this and they will eat their food if I sprinkle this on it. We call it “foo foo dust”. Lol
