Our 18 year old loves these!
Our 18 year Maine Coon mix loves these. Our big boy (34" from tip of nose to tip of tail) has always eaten mainly dry food. He will not touch any canned foods. So I occasionally fix him chicken or fish. He's very finicky about vitamins and treats, but these VetriScience Nu Cat Senior Soft Chews Multivitamins for Cats are on his favorites list. He is such a special guy. He made it through a very long drive a couple of times moving from one state to another. The loss of his brother in 2020 and the loss of his step sister just a couple of months ago. Heartbreaks for us all. We are a senior family. Both siblings were his age or older. He scales the stairs every day. He does this with arthritis in his hips. He's very alert. Interacts with us all of the time. Crawls under blankets and snuggles in. His cute vocals make him very much like a sweet kitten rather than a senior, yet he is full of such wisdom in his actions. These vitamins are part of his regimen every day. He gets one in the morning and one at night. I break each treat in 2-3 pieces and put one of the pieces on the floor or mat in front of the bowl so he can discover it while putting the other piece(s) in his bowl with the food. It also makes it seem like there are more treats. He's probably hugged 50 times a day and loves every minute of it. He's a true cuddler. Absolutely remarkable. We only give our boy the best, so we would definitely recommend this multivitamin.
My 17 year old cat loves these. My vet said to get a multivitamin for him to help his health. I thought to myself great something else he won't eat. But to my surprise he loves them.
Might be good but a thumbs down from my senior
My kitty's had some digestive issues lately and while under vet care I thought it might be helpful to supplement her meals with vitamins disguised as treats since even when she wasn't eating, she'd take a treat or two. No luck with these. She sniffed them and turned away. I can't rate if they'd boosted her health because I can't get her to take them. I'm currently looking to hand them over to anyone else with a senior cat to see if theirs would take them.
On advice from Dr. Emily
I have 5 cats and not one of them will eat it ! It was recommended by Dr. Emily to calm down my nervous cats. How can I tell if it works if they stick their noses up at it.
Won't touch them
I thought these would fool him into thinking they are treats. My cat will not touch these vitamins. I've tried hiding them in his wet food, even crushing them up and mixing them into it. Nope.
Good supplement, but not the best
Our 16-yr old senior lady takes these seldom - one day she will, but the other days she won't. Tried mixing with her favorite treats and she would eat it initially, but then started singling out the vitamin one and leaving it.
senior soft multivitamins
its helping grow all her fur back and shes calmer
cat won't eat
My cat will not eat them. I have to write enough words for 50 characters.
Kitty doesn’t like.
my senior kitty Ivy does not like the vitamin. she will not eat it but I trick her by crushing it with her regular food.
I will NOT take my vitamins
My person has tried to get me to eat these five different ways and I still taste the bad stuff and I refuse to eat them. I just don't like them.
