Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Is this waterproof?

Answer by ChewyAug 15, 2018
It's recommended to wait at least 24 hours before bathing or swimming. In multi-pet households, it's also suggested to allow the product to completely dry before allowing pets to groom each others.

can i use on cats?

Answer by ChewyJul 31, 2019
These drops are not suitable for cats and should only be used on dogs.

Is this safe to use with cats in the home? Not on the cat clearly but I know some of these kinds of flea treatments can be detrimental to cats when used in the same home.

Answer by ChewyOct 17, 2019
It is recommended to allow this treatment to fully absorb into the skin before any grooming.

I have been seeing a lot of warnings about using essential oils (like plug ins) in a house with dogs. Are these oils safe to put on them?

Answer by ChewyMar 12, 2020
This product is safe to use on all dogs 12 weeks or older.

This product works great- no ticks (or fleas)! But, I rarely have any problems with fleas. The scent is a little overpowering for the 1st day, and dissipates every day thereafter. Even with my highly sensitive sense of smell, the results are worth it to me! Coats didn't get that greasy look, like with other flea and tick treatments. And, it's all natural formula makes me feel better, and I don't have to worry about the other chemical treatments available. We had a high tick-load this year. I was finding multiple ticks daily, and these little guys (Shih Tzu) mainly go out to potty and a few walks per week, so the numerous amounts of ticks were worrying.

I am so disappointed. I have a black Pomeranian who is on oral flea meds but after recently finding a stray and bringing it home , she has been scratching a bit. So I purchased this treatment. Applied on her ( and my 3 other dogs) but she was scratching like crazy today so I gave her a flea bath. I found 5!!! fleas in her !! They were all floating in the water after the bath ! This thing does not work .

The Vets Best treatment did not work.

Almost 2 weeks after applying the treatment onto my dogs back per instructions, it hasn’t worked in killing the fleas on my dogs. They have as many fleas as I saw

Almost 2 weeks after applying the treatment onto my dogs back per instructions, it hasn’t worked in killing the fleas on my dogs. They have as many fleas as I saw now as they did when I first applied the treatment. They are still scratching and I’m still seeing and killing fleas off of them.
