Over 100 lbs, increase feeding by 1/2 for each 20 lbs over 100 lbs.
Amounts are recommended for Adult Dogs with moderate levels of activity and no adverse weather conditions. These guidelines should be adjusted as needed to maintain optimum body condition.
Provide fresh water at all times.
Puppies: Puppies will typically start nibbling moistened dog foods at 3 - 4 weeks of age. Feed as much as the puppy will clean up in 20 minutes in 4 feeding intervals throughout the day. You may mix with water, broth, or milk at a ratio near 3 parts food and 1 part liquid. Do not leave moistened food out for more than 30 minutes to ensure product freshness. Puppies will be weaned from milk by 8 weeks of age. Continue to feed up to 4 times per day, and within a few months, the puppies can be transitioned to a self - feeder until about 1 year of age. At this point feed so as to maintain good body condition using the feeding chart as a guide.
Pregnancy and Nursing: Energy requirements are continually changing during stages of gestation and lactation and may require up to 4 times recommended levels of intake to maintain good body condition. Feed an amount needed to maintain good body condition of your female dog.
It is best to make a transition from one brand of dog food to another over a period of a week to 10 days. Gradually replace your current food with Victor formula increasing the percentage of the mix to 100% within 7 - 10 days: Days 1 - 3: 75% Other, 25% Victor Days 4 - 6: 50% Other, 50% Victor Days 7 - 9: 25% Other, 75% Victor Day 10 & After: 100% Victor

Where can I find the Lot Code and Best By date on a bag of Victor?
The Lot Code Number and Best By Date can be found on the back side of the bag (New Poly Packaging) above the VICTOR Logo near the top or (Older Paper Packaging) near the bottom seal below the labeling. The Best By Date is one year from the date the product was packaged for what should still be suitable to be fed up to that date as a guideline. Provided the product has been in favorable conditions will determine how suitable for consumption it should be. Keeping the product from being exposed to excessive heat for any amount of time is the best way to maintain the expected shelf life of one year.

Good Food.

I switched to Victor from Taste of the Wild when it came out grain free diets were linked to certain heart conditions. I have a 60+ pound mix and he has been on Victor since an adolescent. We switched from their High Pro Plus formula to this one since he was getting a little chubby (he's a couch potato) He slimmed back down and is looking great. I routinely get compliments about his coat and how soft and healthy it looks.

My 2 Chiweenies love both the chicken and the beef. Even my neighbor’s 20 yr old terrier-chi likes it. She comes over everyday for a treat an invariably will eat some of the Victor.

Won’t eat it by itself

I switched from Victor Hi Pro Plus to this because my dogs are getting older. They actually won’t eat this alone. I’m not sure why but they put it in their mouth and then on the floor. I love Victor foods so I’m going to try a different one.

My Great Dane puppies were on the Victor High Energy and their stools were extremely soft to diarrhea. Within 1 day of feeding this formula, their stools firmed up. They absolutely love this food, I don’t have to take it up because they eat all of it!!! Victor was recommended by my breeder and it’s made in the USA!!!

My dogs do great on this food, good stools, energy and coat. I mix it in with Victor Ultimate for my Border collies so that they are not completely grain free but are still getting the nutrients they need as working dogs.

I was feeding my dog a top brand of dog food. She would eat it but always left some in her bowl. I switched to Victor's and sometimes I think she is going to lick the stainless off her bowl. Lol. Not a crumb left.
