Saves my fingers

I have a working lines German shepherd puppy. We started tugging with a long braided fleece tug, and she was getting my hands (by accident) far too often when going for the tug. I read that it helps to have a clean differentiation between the human part of the tug and the dog part of the tug, so tried this product. It completely solved my puppy issues. I started with the 16" to better protect my fingers, but plan to transition to a 12" soon to take out and about with us. The tug seems well made and looks like it will last, but I haven't had it for long enough to know for sure.
