Quality has changed in these chews lately

I have been purchasing these for my 14 lb. Dachshund for a couple of years. A year ago, I noticed I would throw away 1 or 2 because they were incredibly thick

I have been purchasing these for my 14 lb. Dachshund for a couple of years. A year ago, I noticed I would throw away 1 or 2 because they were incredibly thick. Every month when I reordered, I found myself throwing more away in fear my dog would choke on the thickness. Fast forward to today, I have been keeping the ones I used to toss so I could keep a record. I now have 2 full bags with only chews that are too thick for my dog. At this price, I will not repurchase, which is sad because my dog LOVES these & begs for one everyday and they definitely were helping with his plaque. The last bag I purchased, only had 3 chews that were not at least 1/4” thick & too risky to let my dog have them. I wish I could get a refund for the 2 bags I cannot give to my dog or another chew that is equally good, but safe from choking hazards.

These chews were described as small, but they were too big for our 11-pound Maltese. I tried to take it away from him--because it looked as if it was coming difficult to chew comfortably. We worried he would choke on it. When I tried to take it away, he was obsessive about keeping it and snapped at me!

Great for Tooth Health

The vet told us that our dog would need dental cleaning soon. We started using one of these each day and the vet was amazed at how much better her teeth looked!

The best option for us!

My little guy has had three teeth pulled. We’ve tried brushing, greenies, minties, and everything in between. But the best results come from these chews. Be careful

My little guy has had three teeth pulled. We’ve tried brushing, greenies, minties, and everything in between. But the best results come from these chews. Be careful with this, as they are rawhide and tend to go gummy after a while. This is not a crate treat or anything like that, I’d never leave my boys alone with them. My sensitive guy (pictured) usually gets an upset stomach from various chews but these don’t bother him. The results speak for themselves. I couldn’t find a before photo but his pearly whites are naturally not so pearly!

Missing Quality AND Quantity

I understand the bags are filled by weight. I get that. But when so many of the chews are nearly 1/4" thick, they are too thick for my 25lb. pups. At that point

At that point quantity the hardly matters because they can't/won't chew them anyways! Very disappointing, yet motivating! I've found a less-expensive and more manageable chew that my pups scramble for!!! Now, Virbac, how badly would you like to win me back?!?

She used to love rawhide chews these just don't do it for her. Maybe good for others, but the reviews are hit and miss.
