What happened
When, I first bought product, I didn't read the packaging, but after some time, I got familiar with that, and noticed the percentages. I was purchasing the 87 percent, and giving small increments to my little dog and God bless his heart he did his best and chewed them up. Anyhow, I got with the 90 percent, and boy was it a breeze for his little mouth, if he could thank me he would have! But now they have tampered with the recipe, and they are more like dried pumpkin, than chicken. I hear these animal food plants aren't inspected. I will try chews, and see if they were like the first time, I say these things because I have tasted them. But if the recipe is not going to be consistent, that will be it for me and buddy. I mean make them good and charge a little more, but stay good and consistent!!!
Old Rawhide Treats
My dog loves these treats but the problem is hit or miss when ordering these treats. If their fresh the color is yellow. As they age their color turns orange to dark orange. They are also harder to cut into pieces as they age. Manufacturing quality control needs to be better as these treats are expensive.
Wouldn't ever buy
My friend gave this to me and after just one treat ALL of my dogs have horrid diarrhea and gas. Even the dog we referr to as "iron gut" because in the years we've had him he's never puked or had diarrhea. Thankfully they are acting normal otherwise, I just hate when my pets are sick and I would not recommend these to anyone.
Disappointed
Disappointed as the expiration date for these treats is October 3, 2021. That gives me about five weeks to give 112 treats to my dog. I do appreciate that I was refunded my money for these treats, however I will not order them again.
