I have been feeding our 3 cats vital essentials for a couple of years now. They love all the flavors of the Pattie’s. Bonus that the product is made in the USA. THANK YOU
My cats are not picky. I have tried many brands of freeze dried and some non-tasty ones (according to comment) are accepted by my cats, BUT not this one. It smells not delicious according to human, and I’m sure they don’t like it either. Would sniff and walk away, rather starve or eat kibble
They love it as long as I add a little water and break it into pieces for them. They would eat it without water, but my kitten is crazy when it comes to eating time, so he will choke if it's too dry. I'm glad there are so many options for better ingredients for pet food these days. Freeze dried is so convenient, too.
I have 4 very picky cats who will turn their noses up for almost any reason, up to and including "proper food presentation". They LOOOOVE this stuff. They forget etiquette and turn into little velociratpors at every feeding. It did take a few shipments to get the correct feeding portions down as well as how to prepare it (crumbled dry or crumbled wet). They all prefer cumblet wet, warmer the water the better absorbtion. Yes, it can come crumbled, but once you get a visual for portions size, it's not so bad. Having the comfort of species appropriate food with no fillers and their litter boxes not smelling like they killed a herd of diseased Buffalo...is a win in my book.
Unfortunately cat won’t eat them. I tried rehydrating with gravy and still a no
They love it dry. I crumble it to pieces bebe likes it mostly that way. Mooshy eats it either way whole or in crumble. Thank you i think i going check other out too🥰
So just crumbled some up and mixed with water. The smell is extremely awful, it barely absorbed water even after soaking for almost 10 minutes, out of 5 cats who will east mostly anything only 2 readily ate and 1 showed interest. Well.... just followed one around as she vomited up everything she could over 5 times that I finally had to put her in my bathroom to contain it. So disgusting! Maybe I'll chop up for treats??? But probably not because it smells so strong and bad. Don't waste the money.
We were pleasantly surprised by the amount that you get in this bag and the size of the patties. Our cat is VERY picky and loves these. We feed them dry and just break them up.
Started out using as a topper on wet food they decided not to eat any more. Worked great. Now they don't want anything but crumbled patty! They got the door to pantry open one day & found them pulling the bag out of the kitty food storage basket! They love Vital Cat patties & freeze dried chicken treats!
The patties are easy to break-up. Takes a bit of time to rehydrate. My cat likes them.
