For small birds, feed 1 tablespoon daily. For medium birds feed 2 to 4 tablespoons daily. For small parrots feed 1/8 cup to 1/4 cup daily. For large parrots feed 1/4 to 1/2 cup daily. Reseal the package and store in a cool dry place.
If you are upgrading from another feed, for the first 2 or 3 days mix Avian Science Super in with the old, gradually increasing the mix until your bird is at home with its new diet. Be sure to clean the feed dish daily and keep fresh drinking water nearby.

Good for my African grey.

My African grey parrot likes this food. She is super picky and doesn’t like some of the formulas with lots of fruit. This has dried banana and a lot of other seeds that she seems to enjoy.

Too many small seeds

I like that this mix doesn't have sunflower seeds but it seems to have many small seeds which most Parrots aren't into. Do have another bag left so I will judge if there are too many small seeds and that my first bag wasn't a mistake, will have to change to a different Volkman seed

Except for too much corn, which he won't eat, it's a good seed mix augmented with extruded pellets & fresh fruits & vegetables.

Chico rook to the seed without sunflower and the quality seed, fruit and veggie bits after a couple days, she is ver active so I want her to eat well,she always had a good quality food but this is better.

My African grey is a very picky eater! She will chose what she likes & feed the rest to the dogs. This brand is no different. Nothing against the food, just a very selective eater.

I only feed this to my parrots. I was so delighted to see that chewy carried it. Were I live the only store that has it, I have to drive in heavy traffic and a long distance to get it.
