This food is perfect for birds such as Jays, Cardinals, Doves, Juncos, Finches, Goosebeaks any many more that can be found in Northern California.

They list the grains but does this contain calcium carbonate? It's important especially during breeding season...

Too much red millet

I recently learned that most birds don’t eat red millet. When I looked for birdseed that had no red millet, this one showed up in the search. The photos do not

I recently learned that most birds don’t eat red millet. When I looked for birdseed that had no red millet, this one showed up in the search. The photos do not show very much red millet but as it turns out, it’s more than 50% millet. Most of this will end up getting thrown away since the birds won’t eat it.

The worst birdseed I’ve ever bought. It looks to me to be 50% red milo, and sure enough, the feeder’s been full and untouched for a week. Avoid this and any bird

The worst birdseed I’ve ever bought. It looks to me to be 50% red milo, and sure enough, the feeder’s been full and untouched for a week. Avoid this and any bird seed product that doesn’t list precisely the ingredients. “100% grain products” is too murky a datapoint.
