This brush is designed with stiff bristles to effectively remove dirt, mud, and loose hair from your horse's coat. It is not designed to be soft on the skin.

Nice brush

This looks like a good quality brush and for a great price. I bought it for my horses and I was a little surprised how short the bristles are. Most of my stiff brushes

This looks like a good quality brush and for a great price. I bought it for my horses and I was a little surprised how short the bristles are. Most of my stiff brushes have longer bristles. But this is still perfectly usable, maybe even moreso for short dog haircoats.
