Is this like the harness where when they pull it pulls their head/snout down toward the ground?

This head halter fits like a collar but works like a no-pull head halter by guiding the head–and where the head goes, the body follows. When your dog pulls, they receive gentle pressure on the snout to correct the unwanted behavior; they then receive an immediate reward as the collar releases its pressure once they stop pulling.

Does it have an adjustable clip on the bottom of the jaw? Does it slip off easily?

If sized and adjusted properly, the collar will not slip off easily. The head halter is able to be adjusted under the chin of the pet.

How wide is the nose band?

The snout band varies based on the size. The X-Small is adjustable 4 to 5 inches, the Small is adjustable 4 to 6 inches, the Medium is adjustable 5 to 7 inches, the Large is adjustable 7 to 9 inches, the X-Large is adjustable 9 to 12 inches, and the XX-Large is adjustable 12 to 15 inches.

Is size 3 a medium on the dog head halters??

The Medium collar has a circumference of 14 - 19 inches and a snout circumference of 5 - 7 inches.

My trainer reccomended this product. I have nothing but good things to say about this head collar. My husky mix can no longer pull me throughout our walks. We are training to eventually get back to a harness but for now, this head collar helps tremendously. I no longer get a headache on my dog walks because of the constant tension from a taught leash. I now have slack on the lead, it's AMAZING. An immediate difference. Worth every penny and then some in my personal opinion.

While sizing is correct side pieces gape and cannot be adjusted, rise too high toward the eyes, and straps are also wide for a dog with a narrower longer face.

It wasn’t what I expected.

I measured my dog as recommended and ordered but it was entirely too large. Instead of paying postage to return I gave it to a friend for her dog.
