INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Position the cutout marked "TAIL" towards the rear end underside of your pet. 2. Gently slide the harness up each leg simultaneously, securing the velcro and buckle directly over the hips. 3. Hold the handles firmly and support while walking. CARE: Please use during times of activity and remove at night or when you leave your pet unattended. Harness can be worn for extended hours to assist pet from room to room. Keep brace clean by machine washing on warm and hang drying.

**Measure the circumference of the upper thigh (back leg) at the point where it meets the body. **Measure the circumference of the abdomen directly in front of the back legs.

Fabulous item and has worked for my dog perfectly!!!
Good item, but Chewy doesn't offer all options
We were having some issues that weren't addressed here on the chewy site so we did some searching and found that the manufacturer has its own site with helpful videos. Based on the photos here on chewy, we thought the handle length was adjustable. We were wrong. Handle length is not adjustable. However if you order from their website directly, you can request longer handles at time of purchase. We are glad we made the purchase and do recommend the product, but chewy's desciption should be updated to include the default handle length on the size you are ordering so you'll know if it's long enough before you purchase.
Not like it shows in picture
I was very happy when I saw the harness when ordered. Needed it for my pet. Waited anxiously to receive it. I am so disappointed in this harness. The strap is way too long. Does not have an adjustment at all. Way too big for a small.
Great product, just not meant for my pupper.
This was exactly what I was looking for. My 16 year old Min Pin has arthritis in her spine and back legs and has trouble walking and balancing. This is the perfect thing. However, even though I ordered the smallest size it was still to big and bulky for her. She is less than 8 lbs. I was very sorry it did not fit. But I would recommend it anyway as it was sturdy but also padded well for comfort.
Helping harness
We found that the harness would not stay up on the hips. We had to get one that has a front and rear connected piece.
