A few downsides

This actually fits our 84 lb German shepherd and he seems pretty comfortable with it. It is much more work to get it on and once it’s on, the dog can’t take care

This actually fits our 84 lb German shepherd and he seems pretty comfortable with it. It is much more work to get it on and once it’s on, the dog can’t take care of business when we take him out. We will use this to help him climb into our van for trips to the vet and groomer AFTER he’s peed and can go for a few hours without another potty break. Seems well made and the only adjustments needed are on the belly straps.

Easy and Helpful

Our dog has neuritis and his back left leg is lame, atrophied and no proprioception. He gets around with 3 legs and uses the bad like a little but ee have wooden

Our dog has neuritis and his back left leg is lame, atrophied and no proprioception. He gets around with 3 legs and uses the bad like a little but ee have wooden stairs that are open and he is scared to come up, especially at night. We keep this by the stairs and it is so helpful to easily guide him up and support is back leg while keeping him active. It works great for our weird situation.

Our dog no longer can control his back legs so we use this to get him around. It's nice because he pee and poo with it on. We got med/large for our German shepherd,

Our dog no longer can control his back legs so we use this to get him around. It's nice because he pee and poo with it on. We got med/large for our German shepherd, the leg holes are just about right but the rest of the strap that velcros on the back is way too big. It could almost just be a sling I don't think the whole wrap around is necessary. Otherwise it works great. The leg holes have a nice neoprene cushion. It looks reasonably comfortable. The handle has a cushion too so your hand doesn't get tired or hurt.

Seemed like a good idea

It may work for other old dogs with back leg muscle atrophy problems but it just didn't work for us. Our old guy is a big dog and no matter how hard we tried it

Very helpful for stairs.

The velcro is very strong. Hold the harness in place till you clip it. Our old dog needs it for the stairs. We take it off because she can still walk about on

The velcro is very strong. Hold the harness in place till you clip it. Our old dog needs it for the stairs. We take it off because she can still walk about on the grass. She can poop with it on and it does not get in the way. She refuses to pee with it on, though. Definitely helps with her dysplasia. (Note: T-Relief, a small white pill sold by Chewy also helps).

I don't know what we would do if we hadn't of purchased this! I have an elderly dog with a tumor under his ribs, compressing his spine , making his hind legs give out. My boy acts like a puppy again when he can be mobile with the help of this product! We are both over the moon and extremely grateful!

A little big and tends to slip

The overall design is fantastic. I had knee surgery and wear almost exactly the same one ( of course made for people). My dog is 14-1/2, arthritic and had an ACL

The overall design is fantastic. I had knee surgery and wear almost exactly the same one ( of course made for people). My dog is 14-1/2, arthritic and had an ACL surgery on each knee several years ago. I hoped this would help give him more stability when trying to stand but does not seem to work as I hoped . It tends to slide down his foot a bit and makes him”knuckle” a bit more often when he walks. I DO think this would been great immediately following his surgery it’s just not the right fit for my particular need

Not for dogs that have difficulty standing

Because the connectors are underneath it’s not suitable for dogs that have considerable mobility issues. We could not maneuver our 100 lb dog to strap her in without

Excellent quality, but won't stay on my dog.

The product quality is excellent, however, it falls off Mishu easily. Once I help him up using it, he starts walking and it falls off him. I wanted to keep it

The product quality is excellent, however, it falls off Mishu easily. Once I help him up using it, he starts walking and it falls off him. I wanted to keep it on him all day, but it just won't stay on. Putting it on him when he's laying down is just not feasible.
