No. Adult rats need much bigger cages than 10 gallon tanks, and this topper is too small for them

Easy to assemble rats love it

SO HARD TO SET UP

It is great once it’s put together but such a pain in the tush to get the platforms set up. Don’t buy if you have long nails or fingers fatter than an 8 year old

It also comes with a water bottle so that was unexpected but perfect since he needed one. The instructions were a little funky but I’m just bad with instructions. Took me about 30-40 minutes to put together. Over all not bad at all, came pretty quick too. Remy loves the addition to his home

i loved this idea so much, and my mice absolutely loved it, but after about a month they figured out how to get out. the wire is thick enough that they weren’t able

i loved this idea so much, and my mice absolutely loved it, but after about a month they figured out how to get out. the wire is thick enough that they weren’t able to chew through it, but there were a few spots that didn’t fit together right and a few that the spacing was just slightly bigger than it is between the rest of the bars and my mouse escaped 3 times in one night after she figured that out. the platforms were good and their feet didn’t fall through the holes, but they were hard to get to stay even. overall i loved the idea of this and i wish i could still use it but the quality is just not good enough to be able to comfortably leave my babies in there and trust it. i was really hoping for how much this was, it would’ve been better:(
