Ware Chew Proof Small Animal High Rise

I have two gerbils and I wanted to add to their 20 gallon tank so I could fill their whole tank with bedding and put their wheel, sand bath, water bowl… etc in the other part. Naturally I chose a tank topper, but they usually only fit a 10 gallon tank. The hooks on the bottom of the topper didn’t fit my tank, so I used a tool to cut them off. I also sanded any rough edges on the entire cage. I made some modifications to my tank’s lid: I cut a hole for access and attached parts of the topper to it with binder/book rings so they can’t slip under it. I also added cardboard to the platform and lid so they wouldn’t get bumble-foot. Weather it’s hamsters gerbils or mice, this along side a 10 gallon tank just doesn’t provide enough room, for all of these animals a 40 gallon breeder with a mesh lid so so much better of an option.

This arrive within two days of ordering. The product was hard to assemble, though. There were instructions. I'm just not very good with instructions. There is a small space between the bars so I don't think my gerbils will be able to escape. I have not put them in the cage yet as I have not bought them yet. The cage looks good though. It even came with a free water bottle and food dish which I'm really happy about. One last thing is the platforms and ramps are a little wobbly but I secured them with twist ties and they seem steady now.

i got this for my pet mouse (that ive had for 2 years) thinking itd be a nice upgrade to his home, and it took him less than 48 hours to escape. im pretty convinced he's gone forever, and i doubt ill ever see him again. this cage is not as adequate or secure as it claims

Did not fit properly with my 10 gallon tank, it was slightly bigger so the hooks didn't line up correctly. The instructions were not that helpful and I just figured it out on my own. None the less the hamster is excited for his upgrade and my kids think it's very cool!

my mouse got out now i have to trap him in the fish tank again and hope that he go in it . it may be ok for biger animals

Our kids have a hamster and gerbil (separate cages), so we bought 2. They love the this, they can dig and play in the bedding and it doesn't get out of the aquarium. Would buy again! Our friend is getting one for her mouse also. As far as the ramps go, you can use a pair of needle nose pliers to curl them more to stay.

Honestly terrible none of the pieces wanted to go together the ledges just fall off

Kids love. Fit tank nicely. Only problem the slides keep falling off.

Our Syrian hamster knocked the ramp off and fell from the top tier. He ended up breaking his leg and dying the next day from internal injuries.
