Too bristly and difficult to use

I got this for my rats because their nails were getting long and scratching me. I do not recommend this kit especially not for small, short-haired animals with more

I got this for my rats because their nails were getting long and scratching me. I do not recommend this kit especially not for small, short-haired animals with more sensitive skin. Both brushes are way too bristly and stiff. The nail clippers are really difficult to use, especially if your pet does not stay still. I recommend getting baby nail clippers instead. My rats did like the strawberry chew though.

After being patient enough and lots of pets I was able to get her nails clipped something I realized I needed during clipping her nails were grooming scissors because it was hard to clip her nails through her long fur.

I have a friend who is starting her own grooming business, and as a courtesy she comes to my house to trim my guinea pigs' nails. I picked this set up so she can just stop by at her convenience and not worry about having her grooming things with her. Its not the fanciest thing, but the nail trimmers worked great, which was the most important thing to me.

I found the overall quality of each grooming tool to be poor. Also, the nail trimmers were very difficult to use and didn't cut nails easily.
