I read that tea tree oil is toxic to dogs and can cause liver/kidney damage. How is this safe for dogs?
Answer by ChewyMar 19, 2019
Tea Tree Oil makes up a few percent of this product and is not toxic to dogs when used externally, nor is there even remotely a toxic amount of tee tree oil in this product to harm a dog, even if ingested. A dog would need to ingest pure tea tree oil and a lot of it to cause any type of issue.

My dog has been chewing on his paws, can I soak his chewed and swollen paws?
Answer by ChewyMay 10, 2021
The tablets help eliminate paw irritation. the natural tea tree oil fights fungus, bacteria, and allergens that irritate paws and cause itching and licking.

How often can you use this
Answer by ChewyNov 08, 2020
It's recommended to use this product 1 to 2 times weekly.

Is it one tablet per paw or could you clean all 4 or even just 2 with one tablet??
Answer by ChewySep 20, 2018
For an average size bathtub filled up above a dog's paws, we recommend 1 tablet for a small dog or 3 tablets for a large dog.

A+

Our corgi-ro0ttie's front paws has lots of hair growth between his toes. He's was constantly licking them to the point of chewing/pulling the hair out. We get him groomed regularly in which they do groom between his toes, but it did not combat the licking. I recently learned that yeast and bacteria get in there, so I started looking for a solution. I bought these fizz tablets in 12 count and have only had to use it one time so far. It completely stopped his licking for abt two weeks!! He's starting to lick a tiny bit now, in which we will be doing another treatment again. We also used it on our two other dogs and it's worked like a charm. It's easy to use, but does require two people. We filled a large pot with warm water and held their front paws in it for about 5 min. I made sure to swish the water around and also splash it up the ankles a bit. Then filled another pot w warm water to rinse off, held in for only a couple of minutes, then dried w towel. I am very pleased w this product!!!!

Sweet Feet

With four dogs, bathing during the spring time is more frequent and often a pain! I drop 1-2 tablets in the tub and my pups feet get squeaky clean as I work their upper body. To boot, it’s completely stopped my allergic pup from licking her feet raw.

Worked first time

I don't know why my Pug, Kylee, was licking her feet, only know it's not food allergies. She was doing it incessantly, mostly at night. One go of this and only an occasional lick. Will use as needed. She fits in our foot bath, so was easy to use and get her to stand still.

Great Product

I use these paw cleaning tablets on my Giant Schnauzer's muddy paws. They really get the mud out of his hair and from between his toes. These are a must in my house.

Close to a miracle

I have two dachshunds, Izzy and Callie, who have had issues with yeast on and off for a number of years. In recent months it became worse and we started using a prescription shampoo from the vet -- which didn't work for us. So as Izzy keeps obsessively licking, I searched for a different solution. So I got both this and the oatmeal shampoo. Both girls soaked their paws separately, then received a shower. (Be aware the tea tree oil in this is a very low percentage. My dogs weigh roughly 15 lbs. and I used 1 tablet per dog. Higher weight means more tablets.) With Callie, this helped really clean her paw pads, and little dry dead pieces were floating in the water. With Izzy, it cut her licking down about 75%. I haven't seen her this relaxed in years.

got this on a whim

I bought this on a whim when seeing one of my favorite groomers on social media recommending it. She mentioned having great results when using it on yeasty Bull dog feet. We have 2 dogs that get yeasty feet, one of them being a Bull dog. This product smelled really good, however, it really did nothing for their yeast feet. My other dog we used it on also gets yeasty feet but we noticed no improvements there either. We tried this product a few times in the bath and still have extra product that we will use at some point. It does not help with the issues we were hoping it would help. It’s a nice extra step if you want your dogs feet to smell clean but that’s about it. We won’t be purchasing again.

Sadden & Disappointed

I desperately wanted this product to work. I checked the reviews and specifically seeked it out on chewy. My bulldog excessively licks her paws. We’ve tried everything including a change in diet to address this issue. We’ve used this product a few times now and no change. We liked the shampoo and will most likely get that again but sadly this was a waste of time and money for us. We are now moving on to a recommended probiotic that we hope will show improvement.

Disappointing

Had high hopes for this product since my dog is always licking at his feet. I have used this product a few times and it makes him lick them more. Even worse, it seems like it actually bother him while using even when using a quarter of a tablet. We haven’t used again.
