I have 3 totally black kittens. To tell them apart I wanted to color their nails. Can this be used on cats, safely?

This polish pen can be used safely on cats. Cats do tend to groom themselves a little more than dogs, so if you notice them licking it off everyday then we recommend not using it further. It is a water based non acetone polish so it is safe, but still has ingredients in there that would upset their stomach if they kept eating it everyday.

Does it work on black nails?

For dogs with naturally dark nails, just add a white base coat to ensure the vibrant and trend setting colors pop.

Fun!

Bought this in Red for "Pawdicures" for my 4 month old puppies. It is fast drying but I did have a little trouble getting the color out of the pen initially. The

Bought this in Red for "Pawdicures" for my 4 month old puppies. It is fast drying but I did have a little trouble getting the color out of the pen initially. The pups became restless and moved smearing it before it dried causing itnto kook like theyvhad bkoody paws. But overall it is a lot of fun. I did buy it in 2 other colors also.

Pawdicure fun!

This was easy and quick to apply, once the tip was primed by pressing, to release the polish. Purple is dark, but shows beautifully in daylight

Like the formula but hate the tip

I wish it had more of a chisel or brush tip instead of a bullet tip. It’s pretty opaque but on dark nails it definitely needs multiple coats. It t dries pretty quickly

Peels immediately

The flow of the pen was great, the product is easy to use and and it was starting to look good. Unfortunately, the second my dog got up and wakeld around the paint

The flow of the pen was great, the product is easy to use and and it was starting to look good. Unfortunately, the second my dog got up and wakeld around the paint started peeling. I tried it on my nail and same thing, the pawlish just rolls off. Since my dog has black nails I followed the recommendations on the package and used the white paint as a base. I tested the neon pink I had from the same brand and it is way better, no peeling so I painted it over the white. It doesn't look good, but I wanted to test how long the neon pink will last with the peeling white base coat. My dog will sit for a long time while I paint her nails, so I was hoping this pawlish would look smooth. The white paint in my opinion is either defective or very poor quality. I would not recommend the white paint at all.

Our groomer started painting Sage‘s nails. We loved it so much we decided we would try it as well. We decided on the pen typepolish rather than the brush, thinking it would be easier. Sage would sit still for a couple nails then get very squirmy. The hardest thing for us was that it took quite a long time to dry and we ended up with more on us than on I think for someone with a dog that didn’t squirm. This would work very well.

Empty package

I was very dissapointed! I got home to find a soaked package. Carrier didn’t open the lanai door and set package inside the front porch where it would be dry

I was very dissapointed! I got home to find a soaked package. Carrier didn’t open the lanai door and set package inside the front porch where it would be dry. Then I opened the soggy wet package only to find nothing but paper and coupons. No nail polish .

The pink shows up well on my dog's black nails, but would look better with the recommended white base coat. I have the silver, also, which works well without a base coat. My dog actually loves it when I paint her nails, it's less scary than clipping them and she knows she looks good, because she gets so many compliments!
