Does this work in snow/ice or would it bend?

I bought this rake/scoop oct 2017, I pick up after three dogs daily. This gem is a life saver. I've already went through a couple of those scissor like dual plastic scoops that are operated by a small spring. Those are twice the cost compared to this simple take/scoop. The metal in this is top quality. Very simple to slide under the gift your dog left for you. Even in the dirt, long and short grass. It leaves no mess. As for the winter, if it is frozen to the ice, you need to carefully break the ice around the pile. If your dog has an upset tummy and number 2 comes out like number1, a liquid ,then you need to wait over night for it to freeze. If you try to use your tool as a pry bar and try to pry up ice the wires will bend. But the prongs can can be bent back for the price, this works wonders

Is this a flexible rake or is it rigid/sturdy? We'd like to replace our flimsy plastic rake.

This Scooper is made of aluminum and will be rigid.

I love the idea of the rake with the built in scoop, but do you make one like it with a longer handle?

Way to big!

It could honestly bee used for a horse barn! It’s too big and clumsy for a poopy scooper for a dog. My 50+ lbs babies, on their best day, doesn’t need the size

Poor workmanship

Great concept, BUT... There are 8 spot welds holding this device together. Within two weeks (and not much use) 6 of them broke. Two seemed to give out simply

Great concept, BUT... There are 8 spot welds holding this device together. Within two weeks (and not much use) 6 of them broke. Two seemed to give out simply by looking at them. The others probably gave out due to the lack of support from the failed welds. Now, the scoop end and handle are fully separated. I’ll probably make a wooden handle for it, because the scoop end itself is pretty good I would suggest the manufacturer check the settings of the tool, and confirm the training of their assemblers.

Poop gadget

This rake is amazing. Just wish the sides had more bars to prevent poop from falling off the sides. Anyways this works so easily in our pea gravel kennel as well
