Based on the picture and description, it seemed like this food would be a hit with our cat, Wasabi, but it missed the mark. Packaging was convenient and easy to open. I did not need a utensil to serve but a spoon was helpful. The food did not look like the picture on the package. No pieces of egg were visible and the overall texture did not look like shreds. The consistency was very runny. The visual and consistency differences wouldn’t matter if my cat liked the food but it didn’t appear she did. While I introduced it slowly to her, she still didn’t eat more than a bite or two each meal.

I was excited for my three cats to try this food. Not having to open a can is never a bad thing and these pouches are easy to open. I do split one pouch between three cats, two BIG boys, and one bitty. I pair it with the prescription kibble that is necessary for one of our cats with bladder issues. This food has a lot of sauce and that is always a positive for cats who struggle with hydration. The food itself looks like chicken soup with shredded meat and some egg bits. This food would be great for cats that travel with their families because it takes up very little room. It's not the cheapest food on the aisle, but it's human-grade quality and for me, that kind of a quality is a must. Our pets have been a testament to feeding Wellness, one of our dogs lived to the age of 19 and the other to sixteen. We currently have a 14 year-old pup and he thinks a couple of bites of Wellness cat food is a fantastic treat! I would definitely recommend this product and Chewy to every pet owner.

Well, keep in mind I have very, very, picky cat. On a normal day he likes chicken, in broth or salmon and sometimes tuna. I thought for sure he'd like this product. So on our sample day I fed him some, and initially, he liked it. Had about half of what I served him. After that tho, he didn't want anything to do with it. I even tried to feed it to him in different bowls, saucers, and different times of the day (just to expand my testing). He was not sold. Im not sure if it's the egg, because he normally eats the shredded chicken in broth.. but not this one.

I gave my cat, Tea, one of these packets every morning for breakfast and he absolutely loved it! The portion size of food inside of the packet is perfect for a full meal for him. You can tell the food is made with high quality ingredients, and I love the fact that it is grain free. Sometimes I heat the food up in one of his dishes before serving it to him, and the smell really gets him even more excited for his breakfast! This was the first time my cat has tried a meal with egg in it, so I was very happy that he enjoys it.
