Made in USA, but were products brought in from another country?
Answer by ChewyAug 18, 2020
This food is made in the USA. Ingredients are primarily sourced from N. America. All ingredient suppliers, whether domestic or international, need to meet certified nutrient levels and be manufactured in quality audited facilities. A small portion of the mixed tocopherols and green tea extract are sourced from China. These ingredients are part of the natural preservative in the food and are less than 1% of total ingredients. Each ingredient is fully tested and inspected for quality and safety before it goes into any of the diets.

As good to perfection as one could get

My dog doesn’t love the taste of it, but he eats it when he’s hungry. It’s the best food so far for his sensitive stomach. Poops come out firmer than PPP SS&S, but the discoloration around his crotch is still there. Oh, well. I’ll live with what I can get. His coat is nice and shiny because of the fish, and he’s at a healthy weight. Couldn’t be happier. 5 stars from this pup.

Recipe Change?

I opened up a new bag, and the food looked different, both smaller pieces and darker color. Apparently, something changed because my mastiff (who's been eating this brand since he was a puppy) won't eat it like he used to. He is going to the bathroom more, which shows me he's not getting the nutrients he once got out of wellness.

It's grrrrrreat

I've been researching dog food for quiet a few years because they make it so complicated to figure it out but I think anyone will tell you that he was actually trying to research what dog food is healthy. There was clearly a report that came out from the FDA in 2018 under Donald Trump that stated that grain-free dog foods were dangerous to dogs because they contain excessive amounts of carbohydrates that were causing an constantly escalating number of heart disease diagnoses in dogs. Dog on it our old English mass that King Solomon developed heart disease and had a stroke and died 2 days later. I did not find that article until May of 2023. Because it was purposely hidden between a lot of useless articles to block my path from the truth I'm so happy that I found this wellness complete. I have been previously feeding my 11th month old Mastiff puppies natural balance and a little bill jac. They ate this wellness complete up off the floor as soon as I put it down. They love it. It has grains and it's high quality, high quality ingredients. I've searched a lot to find the best dog food with a little information that you really have access to which is why it's difficult choice. But I tell you what my dogs love this wellness complete bring my two English Mastiff 11-month-old puppies love it. They acted like they were starving for it. I would definitely continue to buy this dog food. Not sure how many people read reviews but if you're searching for dog foods feed your dogs grain dog foods because grains have a highly important number of nutrients that they cannot get by replacing them with carbs or anything else. Dogs in a wild would be eating squirrels and rabbits and so forth that would be feeding on grass and so forth so they're naturally meant to get grains in their diet.l At first veterinarians told us that grains were dangerous and it introduced a brand new billion dollar a year grain-free dog food industry now vets are coming out claiming that they have new information and grains are not dangerous for dogs of course they said that after they scared everyone and then use that to introduce a billion dollar grain-free dog food industry. Just speaking for myself my dogs love this and they instantly ate it right off the floor as soon as I put it on the floor goodbye natural balance and goodbye all of their dog foods that I have tried. This is a good dog food. My dogs like it. It's as if they were starving for it. Finally, don't worry if your dog has runny poop because grains naturally do that to humans and so it naturally does that to dogs as well but you can research that and find that out for yourself. That's natural it's actually healthy sign that they're getting very important grains in their system. A++++++ for wellness complete

Good food, just not my dog’s fave

I have a one non picky eater with gastro problem and another one without tummy issue but very picky…finding the one suits for both is not easy task. We recently switched to this food, unfortunately my picky eater says no thanks. Nothing is wrong with this food though. Search continues.

dogs won’t go near it

My 3 dogs were eager at first, but the second meal with this dry food they turned their heads and walked away. Now, on day 2 they refuse to go anywhere near it. Great.

Rockys not a fan

The kibble is to hard for my English bulldog rocky, he ate it with me adding water but oh man the extra gas he was producing blew me away. I couldn't last with him on this food. He enjoyed it with water but the smells he created were just way too much. I did donate the Rest of the bag to a shelter

Lower the Price -Stop increasing it!

This is good dog food, but not for the price! You keep increasing it, which is annoying when it’s still 30lbs.

Loving results!

This dog food is a life savior for my Pitbull! His skin allergies were becoming worse to the point he was losing fur from itching and licking like crazy! Really bad hot spots as well. I decided to switch his food to this about 2 months ago and have noticed a huge difference! His fur has grown back and no more itching and licking! Hotspots also went away. I highly recommend this food for doggos with skin issues and sensitive stomachs.
