Our cats loved this food. They are not picky, but the food is great quality. The texture, thickness, density, and scent were all excellent! We normally purchase pate because chunks in gravy cat food is usually so watery... this is by far the thickest and most natural looking chunks in gravy cat food I have ever seen in decades of owning cats. The only thing I am unsure about is whether our cats would eat the plastic container, so I served the food to them in glass bowls. The plastic containers seem very convenient for travel. It's easy to peel back the top, even for people with disabilities like my husband who has Parkinson's. Overall, we would be happy to purchase this food in the future. It is definitely better than the bargain brands in the market.

Perfect Sized Portions

Both my cats loved this food -cuts in gravy. Grain free and with just the right amount of gravy - not too soupy. They are used to getting pate food and this formula

Both my cats loved this food -cuts in gravy. Grain free and with just the right amount of gravy - not too soupy. They are used to getting pate food and this formula was an instant hit ! Each packet is divided into 2 equal portions which are perfectly sized - one for each of my two cats per meal since the also have free access to dry food. . The packaging however isn’t ideal in my estimation. Foil tabs are hard to open ,rippled hard plastic interior leaves food behind ( although my dog appreciates being able to thoroughly ‘clean it out’ for me), and not really sure if that plastic container is recyclable. Aluminum or metal cans are certainly more sustainable.

First of all, I tried this with three different cats, and they all loved it. I put it alongside what they usually eat and they picked the Wellness over their usual food. So, thumbs up from the cats! I like that though it has gravy it is more food than gravy, a very nice mix of both for the kitties. There are about 36 calories per container, so either this is useful as an add-on to dry food, or, if feeding only this, you would have to use several containers for an average sized cat. I'd love to see this food in this form in larger cans. I did find the containers very difficult to open, and had to use a knife to slice the aluminum foil on top. If you're ecologically-minded, this is a lot of plastic for a small amount of food. Overall, the kitties loved it, and as an add-on to dry food or something with more calories, it is a great treat for the cats.

Didn't work for us

My 15 year old cat will eat these flavors of Wellness foods from cans or pouches but she wouldn't even touch them from these plastic cups. I liked the handy size

He ate it all, after i had to take it from him n put the rest in a bowl.Moist is good for cat's kidneys, so glad. Love the size, as bigger cans get wasted since he wont eat that much. The beef n chicken are a great combination for his tastes also!
