The Wellness Quality team has worked very hard to remove GMO ingredients from the Wellness dry dog and cat foods and nothing is changing in their recipes. As the discussion about GMOs has continued in the pet community, Wellness has made a conscious decision not to make a broad non-GMO statement until there are definitive regulatory standards to guide such claims in the pet food community.

Where does the salmon come from and is it farmed or wild?

Whenever wild-caught salmon is available, it is sourced for this diet. When not available, farm-raised Salmon from the Pacific Northwest is used to ensure the recipe is still available for the members of our furry families.

Are these cans BPA free?

All of Wellness plastic cups and cans are now BPA-free. Previously, the lids on our 12.5 oz and 13.2 oz sizes were the last to transition to BPA-free. To confirm that a 12.5 oz or 13.2 oz can is BPA-free, please look for an expiration date of March 2021 or later.

This and the turkey is the only food my picky girl will eat. Zap it a few seconds in the microwave and always check to make sure not to hot. She eats it up.

Turkey & salmon is my cat’s favorite flavor, I wish there was a 12-pack option. I don’t want to commit to a case of 14 because he eats a variety of flavors and brands

Turkey & salmon is my cat’s favorite flavor, I wish there was a 12-pack option. I don’t want to commit to a case of 14 because he eats a variety of flavors and brands (so he doesn’t become finicky.) So I order 2 of the 4-packs, which is more expensive. Oh well, he’s worth it. But a 12-pack would be great.

Easier to keep fresh

I decided to feed Bootsie from small cans since he has a tendency to walk away from his food and some of it was being wasted. I have been feeding Wellness brand

I decided to feed Bootsie from small cans since he has a tendency to walk away from his food and some of it was being wasted. I have been feeding Wellness brand to my cats for many years and believe it is the best food I have ever used. He seems to like the smaller servings and it’s easier to give him fresher servings.

This is a great premium cat food but it’s more dry than moist. My cats won’t eat it unless I mix in another cat food that has gravy. I sometimes add some water
