When fed alone to Adults: feed 6 oz Can per 8 lbs of body weight per day.
For puppies: up to 2 times this amount.
For mothers: up to 3 times this amount.
Combination Feeding: Reduce dry by 1/3 cup for every 1/2 can of wet.
This food is formulated for adult, non-reproducing dogs over one year old as puppies and pregnant or nursing mothers have special nutritional requirements. It is important to slowly transition your dog from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5 - 7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness® each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness® CORE® by day 7.
CORE is highly palatable so your dog may tend to eat more of this food. Watch initially to see if you need to adjust regular eating patterns. Give your dog access to clean, cool fresh water at all times and feed Wellness® CORE® wet food in combination whenever possible, to increase the level of water in your dog's diet. Nutrition is the foundation of wellbeing, but be sure to give your dog plenty of love, exercise and see your veterinarian regularly!

Bought by mistake

I mistakenly ordered a case of this thinking I had ordered the usual Wellness Core Hearty Cuts. It does not come with the handy pop top so it requires a can opener. Also it’s the mash of stuff in a can. Yuk. And my vet said dogs need grain. Cant find canned Wellness Core with at least oatmeal in it?

Hi, I'm Maddee a Shephard/Lab mix and a mama's girl! My nose doesn't know dry dog feed smells so much anymore, so my human mom tried several canned wet foods but I LOVE this one. And mom lets the cat lick the fork!

First the experience, unbelievable lightning fast shipping! I gave this canned food only 3 stars because it is the ground up, packed in kind, and I prefer something chunky. I probably should have researched the food better before I ordered it. However, the good thing about it is that the can does not have an inner rim which makes it very difficult to get all the food out. 5 stars for the can.

I mix it in a good quality kibble to flavor a bit, and add a couple tablespoons of water to moisten, and then stir. There is a bit less than in other brand's canned food though.
