When fed alone to Adults: feed 6 oz Can per 8 lbs of body weight per day.
For puppies: up to 2 times this amount.
For mothers: up to 3 times this amount.
Combination Feeding: Reduce dry by 1/3 cup for every 1/2 can of wet.
This food is formulated for adult, non-reproducing dogs over one year old as puppies and pregnant or nursing mothers have special nutritional requirements. It is important to slowly transition your dog from his/her current diet as it takes a few days for the body to adapt to new nutrient levels. To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5 - 7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness® each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness® CORE® by day 7.
CORE is highly palatable so your dog may tend to eat more of this food. Watch initially to see if you need to adjust regular eating patterns. Give your dog access to clean, cool fresh water at all times and feed Wellness® CORE® wet food in combination whenever possible, to increase the level of water in your dog's diet. Nutrition is the foundation of wellbeing, but be sure to give your dog plenty of love, exercise and see your veterinarian regularly!

I'm transitioning my elder schnauzer Cicero, almost 17, from Fromm's kibble to a paté style canned food. Even though he has all his teeth, he's lost interest in kibble and apparently has some difficulty chewing. We tried American Journey Limited Ingredient Duck, which he rejected (thank you Chewy for the refund), so I tried one can of this formula from a local store before purchasing a full case from Chewy. He eats only small amounts at a time - a can provides him with four meals - but he does lick the bowl clean...eventually. A very slow eater with age-related dementia, he wanders from his food and has to be redirected. Our Shih Tzu Teddy is 14 months old & he just loves his food..his Breeder had him on Wellness Grain free Core food ..so we kept him on it & he loves it..licks his bowl clean!

Chico loves soft food because it's a lot easier on him rather than giving him hard food! We've tried all the Wellness soft food flavors but this is by far his favorite! #WeLoveWellness.

My greyhound has always loved this food. I was disappointed to find it has poultry in it, so could not give to my allergic dog after all. It seems common that the "flavor" of the dog foods does not list all ingredients, so is misleading. Have learned to read all ingredients in the little print.!

My dog got his food in less than two days. He is grateful as he was almost out of his favorite food. The price is the same as going to the pet store and makes much more sense to order from Chewy and have it delivered to your pets door!

My two Silk Hair’s like this better than the one with white fish, so that says a lot. I try to mix it up for them as much as possible and this one, so far, is tops.

I have been using Wellness Core brand for almost 4 years when I adopted a couple of senior dogs. I also foster dogs for a local shelter and once they start using this product, their tummy issues seem to go away.

My rescued girl[she came to me almost starved to death] is now my service dog. She is quite spoiled and will not eat foods that don't meet her standards -- She wants MEAT and will eat vegies if they are the correct ones. The food she has eaten for the last 7 1/2 years is not made anymore. She has transitioned well to Wellness Core and I don't have to go hunting for it when I run out -- it's on my doorstep. How could I ask for more? Service is quick and I can add or subtract items to my regular delivery with a few strokes of the computer. Chewy has never disappointed.
