Cats over 15 lbs: Add up to 1/8 cup for each additional 2 lbs of body weight.
The best way to transition your pet onto a new food is to gradually introduce the food by mixing it with the old diet (starting by mixing 90% old with 10% new and increase new by 10% each day until the bowl is full of only Wellness). Mixing the food will allow your pet to acclimate to the new taste and not overindulge on the new food.
When food transition is not an option, there are a few ways to ensure a good transition:
Feed multiple, smaller volume meals. This will decrease the likelihood of over-consumption and provide for a more consistent, firm stool. Add clean warm water to the food to help soften it. Add a digestive aid such a boiled brown rice or sugar-free canned pumpkin.

No one eats it

I had high hope for this food. The ingredients look legit (so I gave it two stars), but my cat refused to eat it. She'll beg for food even when she has this kibble in her bowl. A little disappointed. Already donated to a local shelter.

my cats (who are not picky eaters) absolutely refuse to eat this. They are incredibly food motivated, and normally eat anything put in front of them. NOT THIS.

I couldn't get my 3 senior cats to even try this food. Smells good packaged well. So not sure why. Not usually very finicky.

My crew seemed very enthusiastic about this food when I opened it for the first time. I could tell by the second day they were not impressed. I will continue to feed them the rest since they are eating it but it will not be on my shopping list again.

She LOVES this food

Our cat was having allergies to her old chicken kibble, a well known and popular brand. Being a very picky eater I struggled to find a new food for her that she would even eat. She took to this food immediately! Her skin issues have been resolved, the awful chin crud, and her weight is healthy and her coat is shiny. What I didn't expect was her personality to change she is such a happier cat! Running for her refill in the morning, more energy and just an all around happier and healthier cat. I am so glad this worked for her.

I only bought a very small bag as I wasn't sure what my 2 would think of it. OH MY GOSH you'd think they hadn't eaten in months. I started by just giving it as a treat. They LOVED it. Now I'm mixing it with their other food until it is gone. Definitely re-ordering this.

My cat’s health has improved so much since switching to wellness. She’s lost weight, regulates her own eating better, and her coat is so soft and shiny! My cat is getting older (12 years), so she needs glucosamine and controitin for her joints and this is one of the only brands that add it in the food. I’ve tried a few different foods from this brand, and core seems to give her the best energy and overall health, and she likes the flavor better.

Very Small Kibble Pieces

My cats love this food, but it's so small! I thought I finally found a brand that both my cats could eat BUT my smaller/younger cat keeps getting whole kibble stuck between her little top front teeth and her fangs. Its definitely just a personal thing for her as my other cat doesn't ever have the problem. It's extremely uncomfortable for her and sometimes I have to stick my fingers in her mouth to help. It just isn't very safe! If I wasn't around when it happens that would be very scary for her. The kibble size is more like kitten food, not adult food. So I'm sad about it. Oh well. Just something to keep an eye out for.

Worked wonders for our fat housecat!!

Our cat really loves the fish flavor and we love that it has less fat. He has been on a strict diet and is down 2 1/2 lbs. After 7 months. The BEST part is his fur is so soft and shiny!! We switched to this from the indoor chicken flavor. For those of you who say their cats don't like this brand our kitty did hate us for awhile in the transition phase probably because this brand isn't spraying their food with something to make it more appealing. No oily residue on this stuff. Now he won't eat anything else!

Refuses to eat

My cat loves Wellness cat food but this flavor he just refuses to eat and is very vocal in letting me know his disappointment with it. I decided to bring a small handful to a neighborhood cat to see if she would eat and she ate few nibbles and also refused to eat it.
