Really good quality kitten food, I liked the ingredients and my 3m kitten enjoys eating it. I do notice the small bone pieces in the food like others have mentioned, but they are small enough and when I gently rub it in between my fingers they turn into powderish small pieces, so I'm not super worried about it. I have been monitoring my kitten's stool as well and he doesn't seem to have any problem and they are not too hard.
I have three senior Norwegian Forest cats, one 17, one 16 and one 12 years old. For most of their life they have eaten wellness no grain chicken Pate, but lately they just seemed kind of tired of it. My oldest cat was becoming very thin, so I decided to add core turkey and chicken liver pate kitten food, I simply mix some of the kitten food in with their regular wellness food, and they love it. Luckily my slender cat is starting to put a little weight on, however I've noticed the other two have as well. All three of my cats really enjoy the kitten food, so I will just adjust the amount I mix in so I don't have three fat cats...
The kitty is fine with this food. She gobbles it down. I was afraid that she might prefer the Wellness Complete but she seems to like both. She will be a kitten for a while yet so, both products are what she will be eating for some months yet.
Thankfully my foster kitty enjoys this wet food. She turned down another brand I offered.
I got confused and did not realize was for kitties. They eat it but not do happily.
My kitten loved this food, I originally bought a case of 12 from somewhere else, but decided to do autoship on Chewy for the case of 24. The first box I received had the same texture that my kitten and I like, but the most recent box I’ve received have had a really hard texture, the food breaks instead of smoothing out like a nice pate. My kitten has been eating less and less of her food since I opened that box.
My kittens are 11 months old . I bought this at least twice before and they ate in fine. This latest batch they won’t touch it Grrrrr
If you are a new pet owner. I figured if you want to save headaches on buying foods that cats never eat. Wellness has hit the nail on the head with all its food. Mine prefer anything salmon. But this is not too bad. I love the texture in most of the Core foods. But the protein is top notch for older cats. I have 21 year old who just went blind and she is my baby. She loves wellness and she does much better on their foods than any other brand on the market. If you have older cat. Nothing beats this. Mine was down to 3 1/2 pounds before i started her on kitten food. She does nothing but eat now. It is money well spent!
This was definitely not one of my kittens' favorites
