I was looking for a high protein and low fat dry food that would be suitable for my active big dog and my cockers who can gain weight easily. I picked this one to try out and they LOVE it. I use the pieces as treats when we are training. I read that some people got a lot of crumbs in their bags but mine was perfect. The dry turkey bits are easy to see and the dogs love it.

Love it!

My finicky eater loves this food! I switched to try this brand, because my pup was licking/chewing his paws a bunch and I read that it could be allergies to fillers/grains

My finicky eater loves this food! I switched to try this brand, because my pup was licking/chewing his paws a bunch and I read that it could be allergies to fillers/grains in his kibbles. So I tried this and he not only gobbles it up but no more paw licking. A big win!

I bought Wellness core rawrev because it had good ingredients & it was "healthy weight" for my pup. It's supposed to have freeze dried turkey pieces in it along

I bought Wellness core rawrev because it had good ingredients & it was "healthy weight" for my pup. It's supposed to have freeze dried turkey pieces in it along with the kibble. I ordered a small bag, but the freeze dried pieces are all crushed like sawdust! There weren't any whole pieces of the freeze dried pieces at all, so it's just kibble with crumbs throughout the bag. I'm trying to strain the crumbs out of the kibble when I feed her because she was coughing/ choking when I just poured it in her dish, the crumbly sawdusty pieces were getting stuck in her throat as she ate. I won't buy this brand again. I don't know how it was handled or if it was the mfg or chewy, but it's too expensive for it to be such poor quality.

I mixed it in gradually with some of her food and she had her first"accident" in the house and there was a lot of it! Needless to say, I had to throw out the food I'd mixed with this and start with fresh. Pricey lesson and I'm bummed! Poor Lyra
