This Food is specifically formulated for the needs and growth of a large breed puppy rather than the overall growth of any size puppy. This formula has a high concentration of animal protein made with added nutritional supplements to satisfy hunger and support the health of large breed puppies.

Do they make this in a larger bag? My German Shepherd pup blow through this stuff like a werewolf chomping a victim on his first full moon!

I am a little confused. I asked previously about wellness core being fit for large breed, and was told it covered all puppies. Why do you now have a specialty large breed? What is the difference between the large breed and the regular puppy?

The regular Wellness Core puppy food is made for all breed size puppies including Large breeds but the Large breed version is made specifically for Large breed puppies.

doesn't like this brand as much

my dog preferred the whole earth brand much better, which was discontinued. hes not eating as much as usual with the wellness brand. he only likes no grain chicken

I have been feeding my 10-month-old Rottweiler Jack the Wellness CORE Grain-Free Large Breed Puppy Deboned Chicken Recipe Dry Dog Food, and I am so glad I chose this after doing a lot of research. I looked into brands like Orijen, Hills Science Diet, Taste of the Wild, ACANA, and Royal Canin, but Wellness CORE stood out as the best option for Jack's needs. First off, Jack absolutely loves this food. He can be a bit picky, but now he gets excited as soon as I grab the bag. Since switching, his coat has become shinier, and his energy levels are just right. He is not too hyper, but he is always ready to play and go on walks. I chose this food because it is grain-free and packed with high-quality protein from real chicken. It has all the nutrients Jack needs for a large breed puppy, especially to support his joints and growing bones. For a big guy like him, that is super important. I have noticed he is building muscle really well and seems more agile, which makes me feel great about my choice. The kibble size is perfect, not too big or too small, and easy for him to chew. Found the right food!

Puppies are difficult to feed because they are very finicky. Took a few tried to find this brand but Lola is now a happy and very full puppy!
