Using these as training treats, good size, both pups like them as well as other dogs who notice a have treats in carrying around that smell yummy. Im making lots of dog friends because these are tasty. They are soft without seeming really fake and quick to eat for good training.
My dogs like the treats. Unfortunately I was looking for them to be more moist and soft so they could be super quickly eaten during agility training sessions. My Border Terrier had to pause to chew and swallow for a lot more time than with other tiny morsel treats. They will still work as rewards for other things when I don't need her to jump right back into the action.
This are perfect for training your puppy! Not to hard, the perfect size and she keeps coming back for more! Woot Woot wish I could find a bigger quantity bag!!
My dogs love them. Does not upset sensitive tummy.
Bentley Loved these treats! We took them everywhere we traveled.
Great for a quick treat and if he isn't listening it helps get his attention. He gobbles them down and he is only 5 lbs.
Poochi loves the turkey, pomegranate & ginger petite treats and training treats. They smell good to me but I've never tried them.
I was looking for a healthy, small treat that my dog would enjoy receiving each time she came in from outside. Unfortunately she turned her nose up to these immediately.
My puppy loves Wellness's genuine genuinely soft Puppy Bites. At six calories per Puppy Bite, those ones are soft enough to use just a thumbnail to slice each "bite" into 8 or so delicious low-cal training morsels that the puppy is very enthusiastic about. Whereas these treats are not soft. They are hard, crunchy, and (when cut) crumbly. She likes the taste, but for a small breed puppy they're too high calorie to use for training treats because they can at best only be halved. It takes her a good thirty seconds to chew up a treat that size, which is a long wait when you're trying to reinforce cause and effect. Instead she gets a couple of these sprinkled into her crate to make crate time more alluring, and a couple more stirred into her kibble to keep meals from getting boring. But for training time, we'll be sticking with the genuinely soft Puppy Bites. She gets many dozens of (the divided) morsels of those per day, with barely any caloric impact and only 5-10 seconds to chew each morsel. Which keeps the cadence of training fast and fun for her.
I have a dog with a chicken allergy so I bought these hoping they were soft turkey treats. But unfortunately the ingredients say it includes chicken fat and they aren’t soft. My other dogs enjoy them so I didn’t return them but I was disappointed in Wellness about the labeling.
