What does "natural" pet food mean?
Natural means we use ingredients that are derived from plants, animals and minerals in our recipes and that Wellness pet food contains no artificial preservatives or colors.
Why do your products sometimes vary in size, shape, color, texture or aroma?
Wellness products are natural, and as a result, you may experience product that looks slightly different in texture, color, shape, aroma and consistency from time to time. This is a function of natural products in general, but also raw material fluctuations and the manufacturing process. Please be assured that even though the product may look different from batch to batch, its superior nutritional value, palatability and safety does not change.
Why are some Guaranteed Analysis (GA) levels minimums and others maximums? Do you choose how to list them?
Minimum and maximum claims for each nutrient are established by AAFCO. The only necessary claims a pet food must make are for Crude Protein, Fat, Fiber, and Moisture.* Protein is always a minimum claim* Fat is always a minimum claim* Fiber is always a maximum claim* Moisture is always a maximum claimWhile these are the only nutrients mandated by AAFCO to carry min/max claims, ash may voluntarily be listed, but must be listed as a maximum guarantee. Any vitamins, minerals or live microorganisms (probiotics) may be labeled with a minimum guarantee. We're proud to be 1 of the only pet food manufacturers who are able to include guaranteed levels of probiotics on our dry food recipes. Probiotics can help improve digestion and immune system function.

Not Healthy
By WintersMom on Feb 18, 2021
I got these for the new puppy we are adding to our family soon. I was so disappointed that the second ingredient is peas. Pet parents know by now that is a cheap, unhealthy way to bump up protein content. Not healthy. I threw them away.

Perfect Treat for Training and Small breeds
By MaddiesMom on Jan 29, 2021
My miniature schnauzer loves these treats and I love them too because they are crunchy rather than soft. Too many treats are only the soft ones and she seems to enjoy the crunchy. Plus being they are small, they are perfect for training.

My 5 month old puppy loves these. I give her one every night when I put her to bed, breaking up to tiny pieces so she thinks she is getting more.

Great Treat
By Gracie on Jan 9, 2021
This is a great treat for training. I like the soft bites for some training because they are easier to chew and get on to the next trick. Either Soft or Crunchy Puppy Bite is a win win!!
