How many cans per day for a 10pd dog and 15pd dog?
Answer by ChewyMar 20, 2018
This food is meant to be used intermittently, as a treat, or as a topper for dry kibble. It is not intended to be used as a dog's main source of food.

Does this dog food have fat in it? I was using evangers and all of a sudden there is so much fat in it that I have to throw half the can out.
Answer by ChewyOct 07, 2017
This formula contains 6.0% fat.

How long can you keep an opened can in the refrigerator?
Answer by ChewyDec 29, 2020
If the canned food is well covered or sealed from the surrounding environment, the food should last up to 3-4 days. It is advised to consume before this time. The storage conditions and general hygiene of the refrigerator, as well as how long the food has sit out exposed will have determining effects on the safe storage of the canned diets.

Are the protein sources used in your 95% canned food sourced from free-range, antibiotic-free animals? Are these animals raised in the US and is all processing of the food performed in the USA?
Answer by ChewySep 12, 2018
This product is hormone and antibiotic free. This food is manufactured within the United States. Wellness will source their high-quality ingredients right here in the United States depending on availability. However, certain high-quality ingredients can only be outsourced (i,e: duck, lamb, venison, etc.).

Great food, BUT…

My dog loves this product. I mix just a scoop in with her dry kibble and she eats it all up. My only issue is my dog is 8lbs and I end up wasting the rest of the can. I wish this product came in smaller portions.

Causes Tummy Issues

Both dogs have major tummy problems with only just having a very tiny bit in their main food. And I mean a tiny bit. Both senior and puppy love eating it but then they puke and or have diarrhea. Trying to return it. Only used less than a quarter of one can.

Health alternative for you pet

I did my research on this product and it seem to come back with favorable reviews. We have had our dog on Natural Balance and they have not had any supply of wet for for our pet for months. We tried Wellness Mixer Topper and our 14 yr old dog loved it. I will purchase another case as this seems to be a very good product.

It's a TOPPER, not for daily regular feeding

My mistake for missing it, but when I did a search for "Wellness wet dog food" this item came up first along with all their other canned dog food products. I did not notice the word "topper" and bought two cases of the stuff before I realized it. The dog loved it, but am disappointed Chewy's site included it in the search without making it more apparent that it was meant as a topper, not for daily, regular meals. Again, it was my oversight but I never thought to check for that. I was looking more at the ingredients, etc. I now know better. I gave it 5 stars because it's a good product -- if you're looking for a topper.

Price increase

$10 price increase since last ordered. The price gouging is rampant everywhere. Love the product, but will not be ordering it anymore.

Pick princess likes it

This is one of a very few foods my very picky dog enjoys, I use it as a topper to entice her to eat. I will definitely be purchasing this again.

Chicken welln

I know it is to have mostly chicken but my dog does not care for the texture. He can be quite finicky.
