Great low sodium food option. My dog has heart disease and needs low sodium, but I prefer to feed him cooked food or something else with moisture in it rather than

Great low sodium food option. My dog has heart disease and needs low sodium, but I prefer to feed him cooked food or something else with moisture in it rather than kibble. He got sick of his last food and refused to eat it, so happy I found weruva. Lots of low sodium options, and the joint support in this helps his back issues. He is an extremely picky eater. I did have to mix this with a different food to get him started, but now he gobbles it up.

This company seems to have reduced their quality. I’m continually getting cases of cans that were damaged at the time that they put them in package. I believe this

This company seems to have reduced their quality. I’m continually getting cases of cans that were damaged at the time that they put them in package. I believe this is true because the package and the box that they arrive in are in perfect condition. Often times you will lose one or more of the cans because they lost their seal. The food itself is also inconsistent in quality as sometimes it’s very dry. This said, when it is good, my dog really enjoys it and I do think that whatever is in the food that reduces inflammation and helps with her mobility is awesome. Nonetheless, I’m likely going to need to find a new food for my dog if I can no longer count on this company to be consistent.

I was pleasantly surprised (and so was my doggies) by the Weruva Awesome Bouncy “joint health” wet food. This is a family run business out of MA. I’m always supporting local businesses over the big wigs when I can. This wet food features green lipped mussel, fish oil and ginger which promotes joint health for dogs. It also contains chicken breast, riceberry recipe (a secret formula I think), turmeric and ginger. The rest of the ingredients are extremely healthy. It’s nice seeing healthy ingredients and vitamins in a dog food. Plus I always buy foods made in the USA for my 3 pit bulls. I want the best for them.

I have actually been wanting to introduce a wet canned food to my Morkies but couldn't find one that I thought was also good for them. When I read the ingredients on this, I couldn't wait to try it. Opened the can and put some down on a paper plate - all 3 of my Morkies gobbled it up! That has never happened! Loved seeing all the shredded chicken (and there was a lot of it), the Green Lipped Mussels, and the Tumeric & Ginger. Now, I do find that we don't always go thru a whole can a day, so I may start purchasing the smaller cans in order to offer 'fresh' every day. I am just thrilled with the quality of this Brand and am also wanting to try other proteins offered.

I am using this food with my 9 year old dachshund who has begun to show signs of joint aches and pains when climbing stairs and running. She LOVES the taste of the food and easily tolerated me adding it to her feedings. I began using it about three weeks ago and she does not seem to be as stiff and in any discomfort now when playing and running. And that makes me and her very happy!
