Is this for dogs too?

Answer by ChewyFeb 16, 2022
This supplement is formulated for dogs and cats.

Does this product help with hairball management?

Answer by ChewyNov 05, 2025
While this recipe was not specifically formulated to treat hairballs, this brand does hear good things from folks who are shopping for this issue. The pumpkin contains fiber, which can help keep things moving in the right direction, and it also has coconut oil, which is great for healthier fur overall. Some cats may still need additional hairball support, but adding a little pumpkin puree to their routine can be a gentle way to help with occasional hairball issues.

Is there protein, phosphorus and/or sodium in these flavor varieties?

Answer by ChewyJun 07, 2024
This recipe has a minimum crude protein content of 0.5%. As this recipe contains very limited ingredients, we do not have exact figures on nutrients, they would just be what is naturally occurring in the ingredients.

Is this ok for nursing dogs ?

Answer by ChewyApr 04, 2023
The ingredients in this formula are pumpkin, water, coconut oil and flax seeds. We would recommend reaching out to your vet for information specific to your pet.

Smurfette was having issues with eating dry cat food because of her teeth, so I bought the variety box and turns out she loves the coconut oil and pumpkin one the best. She absolutely loves it!!! I mix some goat's milk & dry food and then add it on top and watch her go too town. She's now starting to put back on the weight she lost and hunts us down for her Pumpkin Patch with coconut oil!! LoL Best decision I made!!

We love using this in our household! We had a previous kitty who had bladder issues and we wanted to take as many precautions as we could with our other cat and future kitties. This product makes our kitties fur so so soft because of the pumpkin and one box will last us months! we love it!

They actually enjoy this pumpkin.

I used to get dirty looks when I put pumpkin in their dinner but they seem to really like this flavor. I'm guessing the coconut oil is why!

I have used this for my cats when they needed extra fiber for diarrhea. It should also work for constipation but that's not been our issue. About a tablespoon in their wet food daily did the trick, easy to keep the leftover in a container in the fridge for a few days. The packaging can also be rinsed and recycled through the weruva program, I've done it before and appreciate their efforts to help the environment. Extra omegas in this formula from the flax seed were good for my 1 cats flakey skin too

Thinking it would help with stomach troubles

Neither one of my cats would touch it. I'm going to try mixing it in some wet cat food. It smells fine, looks ok, just not something my cats would eat.
