First impressions of Weruva Puppy Food, upon opening the first can was how pleasantly surprised at the freshness and quality. REAL shredded chicken, rice, corn and gravy. Secondly, is how it looks like a meal that you or I could eat. It is not over processed, broke down or compressed. Even better than that is it doesn’t have the pungent smell that most canned pet food has, it’s a mild smell of exactly what it is chicken and rice. It’s a winner from my aspect, but most importantly is I believe it’s a winner according to my fur babies!!

Didn’t expect this

Bonnie nor Clyde (yorkie pups) would eat this. They loved the 3oz servings of Weruva without rice. Not sure why! Weruva has always been devoured by my maltese

Real food for your dogs!

Even my pickiest loved this food. All 3 of my dogs tried and enjoyed this food. I appreciated that I could tell by looking inside the can what ingredients were in

Even my pickiest loved this food. All 3 of my dogs tried and enjoyed this food. I appreciated that I could tell by looking inside the can what ingredients were in it, real shredded chicken was abundant. Not like when they say there’s chicken in it but you can’t really tell. The gravy did need to be stirred in so don’t be put off when you first open it and it’s hanging out on the top. At one point while trying this food my middle dog needed to go on a bland diet and this was also great for that. I plan on always keeping a few cans around just for that reason! I would highly recommend this as a topper or complete meal for your dogs.

Here’s what we love: -Real ingredients you can see: Shredded chicken in a light gravy with real bits of rice. No mystery mush just honest food. -Complete & balanced for growing puppies. Formulated with the right protein, fat, and nutrients to support development. -Free of artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. It’s grain-inclusive but gentle, with no corn, wheat, or soy. The consistency is perfect for mixing with dry food or serving on its own, and our dogs lick their bowls clean every time. Another win from Weruva!

We didn't care for how it looked in the can.

My dogs ate this OK but I didn't like how it looked when I opened can It looked like a lot of congealed fat or something on the top... maybe it was mushy rice. Regardless,

Regardless, I wasnt comfortable with how it looked so I didn't feed them a whole can. Never heard of the company but their website looks legitimate. The cans state manufactured for Weruva Intl, MA, but not where the production is actually done, tho in looking at website, appears to be Thailand. Can is too big around to fit with the small plastic (fancy feast-size) covers, and too small to fit regular full size pet food/soup/standard canned food cans.

I fed this to my Yorkie puppies and my Pomeranian puppies. My initial thought when I opened the can was - “Wow, this looks like something I would eat myself.” You could clearly identify shredded chicken, rice, and pumpkin. The puppies I fed were twelve weeks old & had no trouble eating it. They seemed to really enjoy the taste, and ate until their bellies were full. Mom had no complaints finishing what was left over.

I don't even know if I can write a review that would explain how wonderful this food was. I got this food just in the nick of time to save some starving puppies. It was far healthier than even me cooking from scratch their food. And they just devoured it when I couldn't get them to touch any canned food and I think I tried seven or eight different brands of puppy food that they show little to no interest in but all of them sniff this and began eating immediately. Even the weakest one.
