Flimsy plastic

The stairs are easy to attach to my LR4, but the plastic is flimsy and will bow in the middle when weight is applied to it. I have a Maine coon at 17 lbs and a chonky

The stairs are easy to attach to my LR4, but the plastic is flimsy and will bow in the middle when weight is applied to it. I have a Maine coon at 17 lbs and a chonky girl at 14.5, and it's not stable when they walk up it.

Difficult to remove and connect

This ramp must be removed in order to empty the litter tray. When I attempt to remove it the entire shield it is connected to (part of the litter robot itself)

This ramp must be removed in order to empty the litter tray. When I attempt to remove it the entire shield it is connected to (part of the litter robot itself) pops off instead of the ramp coming off by itself. Not a huge deal, but the shield is difficult to replace in the right spot and makes a bigger mess than if the shield stayed connected and I just had to put the ramp back on.

Still waiting for it to be accepted and used consistently.

Four cats are allowed access to it, but only two have been “brave” enough to try it. None use it consistently.

Could be better

I got these stairs when I purchased the LR four. I have a 15 year old arthritic cat that does better when he doesn’t climb or jump a lot. We have a low entry litter

I got these stairs when I purchased the LR four. I have a 15 year old arthritic cat that does better when he doesn’t climb or jump a lot. We have a low entry litter box for him still, but in case he took a liking to the LR four, I wanted the stairs, too. And they’re fine. I’m not sure they’re worth the price for what they are, though. They hold up, but you have to lift them up every time you want to get to the waste drawer, which usually sends the excess litter flying everywhere. They’re also still decently steep, and I think that might be why my senior cat avoids the LR four and has only used it a few times even though the younger ones took right to it. I think I would prefer a ramp version over these stairs.

We bought the ramp / steps when we bought the robot. The robot entry is a bit high so my 15 year old would have had a hard time jumping in and out. The ramp saves her the effort. It also helps to keep the litter being tracked out off the floor.

cat jumps over it

my cats don't like the steps, they prefer to jump out. They also refused to use the Whisker potty, so I had to send it back. I now have super large stainless steel

my cats don't like the steps, they prefer to jump out. They also refused to use the Whisker potty, so I had to send it back. I now have super large stainless steel with side height extension came with scooper. I have to scoop, but, the scooping is super easy.

Waste of money.

Our cats did fine using the robot without this. I can’t tell it really made a difference. Waste of money and space in my opinion.
