Love these mini bites
My boxer dog loves these treats. I buy both the mini bites and chews by Wholesome Pride. Sweet potato is great for my 8 year old so I added them to autoship.
WAY TOO HARD
I have a small puppy and these treats were way too hard. The treats were also too big for my pup, so I tried cutting them in half. I struggled to even cut these treats with a butchers knife!
Hard for them to Chew
I bought these for my senior dogs who have kidney disease. I was looking for a low protein treat for them. since they’re small dogs they had a harder time chewing the treats. Some pieces are big. so I won’t be ordering them again. Lucky I have a big dog who can eat anything lol
Too Hard to Bite Into
I got these for my pug because she is allergic to beef and chicken, but the treat is so hard that she can't even bite into it. She chews on Bullymake toys because she bites so hard and destroys the lesser toys, but can't get through this treat. Going straight into the trash unfortunately.
A but too hard.
These seemed a bit too hard for my dog to chew. She likes them but I didnt like how much effort and drool she had to put into consuming these. So I will soak them in water for a few minutes before giving them to her
Hard as rocks!
These treats are hard as rocks and my dog would spit them out all the time. I even tried soaking them in water and they were still way too hard. I though they would be more of a dehydrated, flaky treat but they are so tough and terrible.
Potato Skins
My dog will eat anything and loves hard chewy treats like watermelon rind. I wanted something low fat/protein to give him that wouldn't mess up his sensitive stomach or diet plan. The treats are really tough and hard but he likes chewing so he loved them immediately. My problem is that the bag is only filled with thin small pieces of potato skins and a small amount of meatier pieces mixed in. Though he likes it all the same, it feels like a jip most of the bag is potato skins with very little potato flesh involved.
Great Product
My sweet pups love these tasty treats. I bought them through my auto-ship, they are a great size for training our new puppy. We have an older dog as well who suffers from pancreatitis on occasion. She is able to eat these without any tummy issues.
Perfect healthy treat
My dogs love these and they aren't gone in one swallow. Even though they are small my dogs take them to their beds to chew on. They are nothing but dried sweet potatoes so I feel good about giving them to my girls without the fear of unknown ingredients causing them problems.
My elderly dogs love these
My three elderly dogs (14 years old) love these. I was worried that they would be too hard for their elderly teeth but they beg for these treats. They also like the pieces of dried sweet potato that are just slices made by the same company. (The slices are too large for their mouths so I just cut them in pieces with scissors.) l recommend these for a heathy treat. My only concern is my diabetic dog as I worry that this might be too sweet for him so he does not get as many as the other two.
