Too dry
I purchased these Sweet Potato Fries by mistake - I usually order the Sweet Potato Chews. They are as advertised, healthy snacks with just sweet potato. However, they are completely dry and hard to break up / chew for my two 75 pound Labrador Retrievers. My older dog threw them up after the fries (broken up) sat in her stomach for a few hours. The Chews can be dry as well, but break apart more easily. Ideally, both should have enough moisture to stay chewy. The only way I can give these to my dogs is to soak them over night until soft and cut them up to add to their meals. Please note that they arrived dry; I refrigerate them (to prevent mold) and keep the bag well sealed.
Great low fat treat
One of my dogs had pancreatitis and is on a low fat diet and this is absolutely perfect. Since she only weighs about 12-13 pounds I cut the fries up with scissors to be a couple of inches long. She loves them. I haven’t had any problems with the dogs chewing them either. No need to refrigerate. Just seal the bag tightly to prevent bugs or further drying. The price is another plus.
Maybe better for big dogs
I love that this is one ingredient, but it was too big and tough for my medium-sized dog. Even if I was able to tear one in half, he would almost choke on it. He clearly liked the flavor, though. I think I would recommend if you have a big dog, and if you do give one to a smaller dog just make sure you supervise closely.
My girlies love these
All 3 of my dogs, one of them being very picky, all love getting these. They run over to the pantry when they hear they bag open. I love how simple these are, and sweet potatoes are a great option for a dog treats. This is a great snack for between meals.
obsessed with these wholesome pride
We used to buy the dehydrated pumpkin treats but since they haven’t been available throughout the pandemic, we switched to the sweet potato. Our pittie is obsessed. These have become super high value treats for her and she’ll do anything for one. They’re also high in fiber so they’ve been great in helping keep her regular. We go through these so quickly. Don’t discontinue these please!!
Sweet Potato Fries
My 3 pups grabbed the treat and scurried off to their respective spots. They looked around at each other to see who would start the feast, making me think I'd made a bad decision with this purchase. It didn't take them long to decide to go ahead and give it a try, however. It takes them a little bit to finish it off, but they do eat the whole thing. I wouldn't say this is their favorite snack, but I'm hoping that it's one of the healthiest ones so I will purchase them again.

Too hard and sharp
I have a staffie and a boxer/pitbull. They both struggled to chew the pieces I gave them and I was afraid one of the dogs was going to choke because he struggled to chew the piece I gave him. I am scared to give my dogs any more of these treats. I am very disappointed. I like most of what I get from Chewy, but I will be throwing these away.
Great Chewy Treats
Both my dogs, a Labradoodle & mini Aussie, love Sweet Potato Treats. They are nothing but a dehydrated potato and they love them.!! I feel they are one of the healthiest treats I could feed them.!!
Bugs living in the bag
I bought this brand of sweet potato fries for my dog, because of the other brand being out of stock and inside of this bag is a bunch of flying bugs. Beware got two orders like this
