Wholesomes make all of their dry foods and treats within 4 company owned facilities here in the US. They source all ingredients from US suppliers if ingredients are available, grown or produced in the US. Some of the examples of ingredients they source outside of the US would be flaxseed which comes from Canada and lamb meal which comes from Australia or New Zealand. In the Venture and UNREFINED lines of recipes, they source duck and rabbit meals from France and butternut squash from Central America. Their vitamin premixes are formulated, sourced and blended in the United States by a US company in a human grade facility.

Midwestern Pet Foods is committed to the humane treatment of all animals and does not test on animals in laboratories. When introducing a new product, Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) feeding trials are completed at a farm with an in-home atmosphere that is non-invasive, non-lethal and cage-free. All animals are humanely treated.

Good ingredients

I trust that this dog food is great for dogs but our dog Is an American bulldog and it’s not helping her skin condition at all. I do think she was having flare ups

I trust that this dog food is great for dogs but our dog Is an American bulldog and it’s not helping her skin condition at all. I do think she was having flare ups due to the pea protein. We have switched to another food and she seems to be doing better. I’d recommend it if you want a healthy food for your dog. I’m giving our left overs to the squirrels and they love it. Picture for cuteness but you can also see she’s a bit pink and she’s usually more pale when she doesn’t have a flare up.

Huge bag!

I was looking for a 17lb bag of single protein food for my girl poppy and I was so used to the smaller bags being in this price range but this is a 30lb bag!!! And

I was looking for a 17lb bag of single protein food for my girl poppy and I was so used to the smaller bags being in this price range but this is a 30lb bag!!! And it works for poppy's sensitive stomach! plus since the two dogs that eat this food weigh <40lbs it takes a couple months to get through the whole bag. It is a little too rich for my third dog, however, so he gets it too just not for every meal. But perfect food for dogs with tummy issues!

I have two sweet German Shepherds and they both have sensitive tummies and skin. This food was a switch from another expensive brand, and I was worried their stomachs

I have two sweet German Shepherds and they both have sensitive tummies and skin. This food was a switch from another expensive brand, and I was worried their stomachs wouldn't handle the change of ingredients well. But it works great for them! They've handled it really well. No puking, solid poops, and flakey dry skin isn't an issue either. Happy with this and signed up for recurring shipments right to my door makes it Hassel free.

TS was out of stock of our regular brand and we bought a substitute brand. Pups started getting bald spots, red paws, etc. Tried Wholesomes, fur is back, paws are getting better! Plus this is more cost effective than our old brand. We do mix with homemade dog food that we whip up once a week. So far we will continue w/ this brand.

Made my dogs itching problem 75% better, that says alot. I have been dealing with my GSDs skin issues for a while. With this food so far so good. Time will tell
