The Quail and Rabbit Archetype varieties contain meat only. Organs and bone are included where indicated (Chicken Archetype and also Chicken Dream Treats, Archetype Burgers, and Optimize Beef Heart & Liver variety).

The Natural Flavors in pet food is a proprietary blend derived from the main protein source of the food. In this case, to increase palatability the natural flavor is derived from quail.

Still confused with feeding quantity, my dog needs approximately 450 calories per day. I need the rabbit archetype food. How many servings per bag?

Great for My Super-Finicky Cat

All of my kitties are crazy about this freeze-dried kitty food, the chicken flavor as well, but I mostly get it because one of my kitties will not eat canned food

Horrible diarrhea

I had high hopes for this since I had luck with having used the quail treats several years ago. Unfortunately this has given my 13.5 year old cat watery diarrhea,

My cat likes it (I use it as a topper for his wet food). The only problem I found is that it's crumblier rather than a solid piece, but he likes it.

Good ingredients, but expensive and not all my cats eat

This was the first freeze-dried raw cat food I tried for my cats. They both love the Epigen 90 formula, but one of my cats refuses to eat Wysong's freeze-dried raw

This was the first freeze-dried raw cat food I tried for my cats. They both love the Epigen 90 formula, but one of my cats refuses to eat Wysong's freeze-dried raw food. It used to be a good bargain, but the price has risen so the price is comparable to brands like Stella & Chewy and Open Farm, both of which seem more committed to sustainable and responsible ingredient sourcing. Would consider it if both of my cats ate it, but since the other options are more palatable for both my cats, are only slightly more expensive, and have more responsible ingredient sourcing, I've been opting for those other options.

My cats likes this food. It is very finely ground, at least most of it. I read a review for another brand of freeze dried food, and the lady said she found sharp bones in it. So, I started looking to see if this had any. I had never thought about it. Yes, I decided to see if this had any. Yes it does and some are very sharp. I guess all freeze dried food has the potential for sharp bones. It is very sharp. I'm going start checking out all the freeze dried food I feed my cat. I tried to add an image, butbI could not get it to attach.

crumbs crumbs and crumbs

She likes the treats but, she definitely likes the chunks better than the crumbs. I tried giving the crumbs but it falls to the bottom of her bowl, and she doesn’t

She likes the treats but, she definitely likes the chunks better than the crumbs. I tried giving the crumbs but it falls to the bottom of her bowl, and she doesn’t really eat the crumbs. Unfortunately the bag is mostly filled with crumbs. Most importantly she likes the treat, and it’s nice to add another flavor of treat into her diet.
