  • Excellent product to lower pH

    By on

Was told both of my 16 y.o. cats had the beginnings of kidney failure based on blood work results (but they act fine); urine pH was too high and other blood work aspects showed kidney failure. I refused the "prescription diet" - vet said this was all I could do for them. Instead, I bought this product and use it in combination with a high quality wet food diet (only wet food), always add extra water to the food, and another supplement. 2 consequent blood checks have indicated "completely normal blood work" - no signs of kidney failure and pH is fine. It might be the combination of this with another bladder health supplement, but I believe especially the DL Methionine in this product is key to Was told both of my 16 y.o. cats had the beginnings of kidney failure based on blood work results (but they act fine); urine pH was too high and other blood work aspects showed kidney failure. • Great Idea to provide variety

my cat is so picky so I really have to disguise this (in tuna juice) but ii is a great deal for the amount. He feels like he can eat what the others are eating. I cannot find a uretic food that he likes. Otherwise I would give it a 5.

  • Syringing it to picky dog

    By on

My dog is a super picky eater who doesn't always eat her prescription food. I started using wysong biotic ph- and she loved it for awhile just to become tired of it being mixed in with her food. I had to come up with a clever idea to keep her ph within range. I started mixing Botic ph- with a small amount of water and syringing it to her. Gets the job done allows her to eat what she pleases. She has consistently held a ph of 6.5-7 since adding biotic ph-. Also the syringes I bought were from chewy and super cheap

  • Wonderful Product

My 5 year old male cat was diagnosed with struvite crystals in his urine. There was no option of a cure, and I was led to believe that urinary blockages, along with the subsequently expensive trips to the vet would be a normal part of his life. I was not satisfied with the prescription food that I was told would be needed to manage his condition, as there are several things mediocre nutritionally about it, so I decided to revamp my system of care. I'd rather spend money on prevention than treatment where my pet is concerned, since I consider quality, not quantity of life to be most important, and pets don't always show signs of pain or bad health until a problem is far progressed. I immediately started trying to understand why he could have gotten the crystals. Though I don't know initial cause, I knew from the medical report that struvite crystals form in a basic environment so I opted to change the PH of my cat's urine with nutrition. I bought this product and mixed it with raw (food grade) ground turkey, beef, and grass fed pork fat. Along with chicken wings (bone in and again, food grade) an occasional egg yolk and some dehydrated raw meat food, that is what my cat ate for the past 4 months. My cat is now on an 80/10/10 prey diet of raw food that I order from a trusted butchery establishment and the prey diet model is supposed to help manage urine PH. He has not had any more urinary blockages or inconsistencies. He is acting very healthy and happy and is very energetic. I haven't had his urine tested, either by PH strips or at a vet's so I don't know if I have cured him even changed the PH of his urine, but I'm satisfied managing his condition this way. Since the vet could not, at the time, give me any other options than the particular prescription diet food, I'm happy that I was able to find this supplement and very thankful for the honest reviews from other people concerning the progress of their pets. You know, when someone in a level of authority like a vet gives you very few options and discourages pet owners taking more of a responsibility in their pet's care by not having alternative treatment options and saying very little about how nutrition can effect a change or not, it can be a little bit scary. I was feeling very alone after leaving the vet initially. I had asked all these questions to try to educate myself and it seemed that the vet was disinterested in giving me information. Basically like being told "just do what we recommended because its the best". I wish more vets knew about this product. It is incredibly versatile for use by those who feed dry, canned, or wet, and it seems consistent. It can also be regulated without affecting the balance of nutrition in whatever main food is available for the pet. I'm so very grateful for this product and people's honesty. Give it a chance! … more

I do not write reviews for anything no matter how amazing, until this. Two days a pH of 9.0 down to 6.0, I’ve been straining my dogs urine and he is passing his stone, so it’s clearly dissolving it too.

I alternate it with other Wysong products (Add Life powder) and my 9 year old cats have never been sick. I trust all Wysong products and think they are the very best on the market.

I have a lab mix that had surgery to remove 5 LARGE bladder stones. Even after 2 rounds of antibiotics, she was still passing small amounts of blood. This has really helped clear her up. I get a few more years with my old girl.

This was recommended to me by my holistic vet. Really happy with it. The company is awesome about answering my concerns regarding lowering my Corgis ph levels.

I stand by this product 100% my corgi was diagnosed with Strutive crystals so he had to go on the prescription diet. For how expensive the food is the ingredients are pure garbage and i told my vet he was allergic to corn but she told me this was all that i could do for him. He ate the food was miserable. itching, had the runs, bright yellow poop, low energy, coat dry, and didn't want to eat it. I wanted to give anything a try and I found this. after using this for just a few days his urine was back to being acidic and no more crystals! after a week i was able to go from twice a day to once a day with just a teaspoon. since I have a small dog it has lasted me 9 months.
