Method 1: Sprinkle the appropriate quantity of DentaTreat™ (specified below) onto any variety of meal.
Method 2: For maximum effectiveness, feed DentaTreat™ independently. This allows the active nutrients to exert their beneficial effects without dilution. Sprinkle the specified quantity in a bowl (or on a plate or clean surface) for your pet to lick up, or apply directly to the teeth as a dentifrice.
Both methods are proven effective, but the independent administering of the supplement facilitates the greatest possible interaction between the supplement and the teeth and gums.
- Weaning Kittens and Puppies: A pinch (light shake) with each feeding.
- Growing Kittens and Adult Cats: 1 teaspoon daily.
- Growing Puppies and Adult Dogs: 1 teaspoon per 15 lbs of body weight daily.
1 teaspoon = 3 - 4 shakes, divide among feedings. Keep tightly sealed. Store in temperate conditions. For long term freshness and preservation freeze or refrigerate.

My cat doesn't like the powder
By alicek on Aug 3, 2020
Maybe it's just the powdery consistency, but she won't eat it. I put it in her dish with dry food because the description says that it's best eaten on its own instead of mixed into wet food. Maybe I'll mix it in her wet food anyway and see what happens.

cat refused to eat it
By LionaS on Jul 24, 2020
I put this on his favorite food, just a tiny bit, he ate right around it leaving the food the powder was on. Why can't they make something effective AND something the cats will eat or without any flavor at all?

Tried and true...
By becca on Apr 27, 2020
My four year old dog has been on this since she was six months old, maybe younger, and so has my now two year old. To be completely transparent, it’s not a daily thing. I keep it in rotation among brushing their teeth and using Tropiclean’s breath spray. My dogs are raw fed and get whole animal treats to chew on, so that definitely has helped keep any tartar or plaque at bay, but I will continue to keep this in our arsenal because Wysong uses ingredients that truly do help reduce the build up that can happen over time or due to starchy diets. I will always recommend dental supplements like this or Tropiclean over any potato-based treat like Greenies—do your research and you’ll find that the starch My four year old dog has been on this since she was six months old, maybe younger, and so has my now two year old. Keeping their gums and teeth healthy promotes a fresh mouth and eliminates any bacteria from flowing from their mouth into their bloodstream—which helps prevent other health issues down the road. I mix this with their food (when I’m lazy), but find it works best when you make it into a paste and let them lick it up on its own. Do it after feeding or before bed, so that the ingredients can work better. … more

Have been using for over 10 years-great results
By Deb55 on Feb 18, 2020
I started using a Dentatreat paste and brushing on my 1st greyhound who had horrible teeth. I have used it on all my greys since. They love the taste and with brushing it has kept their teeth is great shape. It has helped reduce the need for a full dental by the vet. I love this product and so much cheaper than "doggie" toothpast.

Dogs love it!
By Nikki on Dec 12, 2019
It smells like cheese and within a few weeks I can already tell both dogs have better smelling breath. They love it and get excited when I bring out the bottle with breakfast. If your dog likes cheese, they'll like this.
