Would this crate be big enough for an adult German Shepherd? Right now our dog is a pup and we want one big enough for him as he grows.

Yes. An 85 lb shepherd could stand and turn around in it. But it is not as spacious as the pictures with the pasted in dog images make it look.

What kind of bolts does this kennel use?

Perfect for escape artists

Our dog is just a puppy- but a GSDxmal mix (iykyk) and she has not figured this one out at all (for reference she somehow popped a wire section loose in the temporary normal wire crate trying to get out). It's easy to clean, and I love that we can roll it around as needed. It's big, but will grow with her nicely! She seems comfortable in there and depend mind being in it, which is also a nice bonus!

Holes didn't lined up

While putting this together, we realized that a few of the holes don't line up, and there are welded pieces that should have a hole instead. For the price we paid, this shouldn't need to be drilled to line up correctly. Luckily my husband was able to (hopefully) fix the problem. Now to see if it holds up to our escape artist puppy.

Cheaply made and welded spit is broke

A weld spot on the door was broke. The advertised picture showed a German shepherd inside the crate, my German shepherd won't fit in the crate. Even his bed won't

A weld spot on the door was broke. The advertised picture showed a German shepherd inside the crate, my German shepherd won't fit in the crate. Even his bed won't fit in the crate. This is not an XL , not even a large, a medium at best. And it is poorly made, the locks are easily opened by my dogs. I'll pay the price to get a higher quality crate.

The front top lock looks like it was turned to the left in packaging. My husband had to get channel locks to turn it to set it right. Then the latches on all doors

It was easy to put together and is a great size for my 55 lb foster puppy. So far, the escape artist has been able to get out of it. And he even goes in on his own
