Puppy - 3 months old Yorkshire Terrier - I bought this to contain our puppy so he could freely roam around and play. My thought was this would relieve the fear of him getting hurt or into something he shouldn’t in case I was not fast enough to catch him in the act. This design did the total opposite. Our pup sprung/jumped up used the horizontal rails on the panel to climb and caught his paw between the gate and screamed horribly. I couldn’t get up fast enough to get him so he was dangling by his paw, which wedged in further between the two panels of the gate because he was trying to free himself. Also the advertisement picture shown for customer purchase does not show the stakes/pin holding the panels together and the picture shows the gate inside a home, which is what I purchased it for, however if you put the gate inside the pins stick up creating a safety hazard. The pins/stakes are made to be pushed down into the ground to stabilize the gate but even if this gate is outside and the pins are pushed into the ground, the loop still creates a safety issue for any pups that may wear a collar with this loop. Horrible design and very dangerous especially if a dog or puppy is wearing a collar. Another concern is the horizontal rails on each panel create and invite a climbing wall. Idea is great, design is dangerous.
