Are these a hard chew?

Yummy Combs makes sure their treats are tough enough to scrub but not so hard to break teeth. Their protocol allows us to achieve their desired hardness (45 to 70 Rockwell Hardness) to scrub and scrape teeth of tartar and plaque. Their clinical study proves that Yummy Combs removed over 25% of hardened tartar and improved bad breath by 46% was just recently published in the Journal of Veterinary Dentistry.
