Can you clarify what "lamb meal" is? Does that mean it isn't a clean protein source as the first ingredient?

The lamb meal comes from free-range lamb from Australia. The lamb is grass fed without added hormones or antibiotics and is the same lamb as is used for human consumption. It does not contain by-products.
How much of the protein comes from meat?

This food is formulated to meet the Nutritional Guidelines established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages excluding the growth of large size dogs (70 pounds or more as an adult).
