Transition was unsuccessful

My male was started on Firstmate beef and immediately suffered terrible gas. I left him at the same ratio for 2 weeks to give him extra time to adjust, but the issue

My male was started on Firstmate beef and immediately suffered terrible gas. I left him at the same ratio for 2 weeks to give him extra time to adjust, but the issue continued. Stopped feeding him and gas stopped. Then tried to transition my older female and she had the same issues. Still have half a bag, I can’t afford to toss it, so everyone gets a palmful of food and we have a smelly house.

I used to feed Acana, but we acquired two more dogs and the price point of the FirstMate is better than the Acana, while still being a high quality dry food.

I tried this new flavor not realizing it had cultured protein in it--dogs had loose stools for over a week-didn't tolerate it well at all--had to throw the bag out. Never had problems with the other Firstmate kibble flavors though!!!
