This pen is made of durable materials, with pets in mind. It will withstand most scratching however it will depend on the intensity and determination of the pet. We always recommend supervision of pets while in any playpen.

DEFECTIVE ZIPPER

The zipper on the top piece split open making the playpen unusable for cats and kittens. Got replacement from company but after a few uses zipper was defective

So easily broken

We bought a large Zampa playpen second hand on 7/20. It had only been used twice previously and had no damage to it. We made sure we got my dog used to the playpen

We bought a large Zampa playpen second hand on 7/20. It had only been used twice previously and had no damage to it. We made sure we got my dog used to the playpen before he was in it home alone. Today, we left for twenty minutes and put him in the playpen. When we came back, he had already scratched his way out. The company claims this is made out of durable material, but it definitely is not. I would never buy this again, let alone at full price. The return and exchanges policy is not great either. The item must not be used in order to return it. They only cover manufacturer defects and only for a limited time. Please save your money and do not buy this.

Great way to introduce kittens to senior cat

I adopted 2 kittens and needed to keep them separated from my senior cat for 2 weeks. The playpen allowed them to see each other, get used to each other, while provided a safe space for them to eat and sleep. The playpen is sturdy and I keep it in the living room in case they get too rowdy lol. There are two zipper entrances, one on each side so they can use it to play through.

I love this overall. 4 stars instead of 5 because there are some things that could make it more awesome. PRO - 6.5 foot diameter has a great amount of space for kitty to convalesce right beside us for 2 weeks - enough space for me to get inside there with her. this size could fit 4 adults inside comfortably. In retrospect I could have sized down at least one size - zippered doors on 2 sides for good access: allows me to put litter on one side and food on the other - enclosed top with mesh (key to have a top with a cat) CON -zippers are not 2-way. I zippered myself in to spend time with kitty and could not get out for about 10 minutes. If you zipper yourself in, leave enough room for your hand to poke out and unzip - no extra security in the zippers (cats can get out of zippered things). But easily solved with a safety pin. - tiny con: would be nice is one or a few of the sides were thick plastic instead of mesh for easier viewing - tiny con: bottom is pretty thin

I also love how easy it is to fold up and put in its carrying case when I take the puppy with me to work. Seems durable and works perfectly for what I need it to. I may upgrade the size when she’s fully grown. Very happy with it.
